Chapter 381 - Chapter 382: Black Zetsu – Father-sama

Black Zetsu opened his mouth, and strangely enough, even his voice had changed. His old voice sounded like some scheming old man, but now it was that of a sweet girl.

"Kaito-sama, you're back!"

"Uh, I'm back. First, explain what's with this look of yours. What happened today?"

At that, Black Zetsu's eyes showed a hint of helplessness. He lowered his head and glanced down at his body—mm, couldn't even see her toes anymore.

"Kaito-sama, today Mother took me shopping for clothes. Before we went inside, she said my appearance wasn't suitable for entering a women's clothing shop and told me to change my look a little."

"What's wrong with going into a women's clothing shop?"

"Mm… it wasn't just an ordinary women's clothing shop!"

"You mean… that kind of shop, with those outfits inside?"

"Yes!"

"…Alright, I get it. Where's Kaguya?"

"She's waiting for you in the bedroom."

Kaito nodded and headed straight toward the bedroom.

After coming back from Minato's house, he figured it was about time he had a child of his own too. Only, he still wasn't sure if his current body could even reproduce normally.

Black Zetsu once again turned into a pool of black liquid and flowed outside. Tonight, he would stand guard outside.

...

The bedroom was pitch black, but Kaito could clearly see Kaguya lying in bed under the blanket.

Of course, Kaito wasn't shameless enough to use his Tenseigan's x-ray vision, and there was no need to rush anyway.

Kaguya also sensed Kaito's presence. Her body trembled slightly, and she softly called out,

"Master…"

For them, both possessing "advanced Byakugan," the darkness was meaningless. Kaito walked to the bedside, sat down, and asked gently,

"How was the shopping? What kind of clothes did you get?"

Kaguya took a deep breath, slowly sat up, revealing part of her black silk lingerie. Kaito raised an eyebrow at the sight.

She leaned lightly against Kaito and said,

"Master, when I first came to Earth, humans all dressed more or less the same. But now, the variety of styles is overwhelming. I don't really understand, so… I bought a lot."

As she spoke, Kaguya waved her hand, and a black portal appeared. Out of it spilled a massive pile of clothing, all stacked on the floor.

Kaito glanced at them—sure enough, the styles were incredibly diverse, even covering spring, summer, autumn, and winter wear.

The most ridiculous thing was, there was even a green ninja vest in the pile.

Ninja vests weren't something just anyone could wear. At the very least, you needed to be a Chūnin. Selling them privately was technically illegal.

Kaito asked Kaguya how she got that vest. Tilting her head, Kaguya replied,

"The shopkeeper said it was just stuffed with a bit of cotton or something, and the color was much darker than the real ones, so it wasn't considered illegal."

Kaito's mouth twitched. Honestly, he couldn't be bothered with it. Ninja vests were just plain ugly. If he had to compare uniforms, the ones worn by the female Marines in One Piece were much more appealing.

But that wasn't important now. There would be plenty of time to have Kaguya wear them for him later. For now, it was time to take care of business.

With a sudden movement, Kaito flipped Kaguya down onto the bed, pinning her beneath him. Their eyes met, and her face flushed red. She turned her head aside and whispered shyly,

"Master… I don't have any experience in this… so I'll have to trouble you…"

"No problem."

...

The next morning, Kaito walked out the door. Black Zetsu immediately emerged from the ground. He stared at him for a long moment before asking,

"Kaito-sama, did everything go smoothly last night?"

"…More or less. You stood guard out here all night, huh? Thanks."

"It's no trouble. We're family!"

After saying that, Black Zetsu hesitated, then cautiously asked,

"Kaito-sama, from now on… should I be calling you Father instead?"

"…Suit yourself."

"Then… Father?"

"Eh."

Black Zetsu's eyes went blank for a moment. In just one night, he suddenly had a father. The feeling was really strange.

But he didn't actually dislike the idea. He already knew that the Ōtsutsuki Star had been completely destroyed. In his eyes, someone capable of such a feat was no longer human. His mother being with him could only be a good thing.

And now, he herself had a ridiculously powerful father. From now on, he could walk the world without fear.

Kaito glanced back toward the house. Last night had been a bit much—even Kaguya's body couldn't fully handle it. She wouldn't be getting up today.

As for having children, Kaito now had his answer. He was still capable of reproduction—and could even control it.

What he didn't know was how powerful a child between him and Kaguya would be when born.

Thinking of that, Kaito couldn't help but smile, his mood lifting.

He headed toward the Hokage building in high spirits, only to run into Minato in the corridor—sporting two heavy dark circles under his eyes.

Kaito couldn't resist teasing,

"Looks like you put in a lot of effort last night. I'll give you the day off—go home and rest."

Minato rubbed his eyes, looking helpless.

"Effort? Hardly. Kushina was furious yesterday. She kept asking me about my hair, demanding if I thought hers was too long!"

"Oh? So your plan's ruined, huh? Can you still use that secret remedy?"

"Nope. I'll have to get another batch. Sigh…"

"Then go get it. Didn't I give you the day off?"

"Then thanks, I owe you!"

Yawning, Minato turned and left. Kaito smiled at his back, then was just about to head into his own office when the space before him suddenly warped, and Obito emerged.

Looking frantic, Obito shouted,

"Kaito-sama! Madara wants to use the Rinne Rebirth! I can't stop him!"

"What?"

Kaito froze for a moment. What was this? Who did Madara want to revive with Rinne Rebirth—Izuna, or Hashirama?

Obito quickly explained the situation. Apparently, he had gone to challenge Madara again today, and of course suffered another crushing defeat.

Madara had grown impatient with Obito's repeated challenges. He asked what it would take for Obito to finally give up his foolishness.

Without thinking, Obito had blurted out,

"Either kill me, or bring Rin back to life. Otherwise, I'll never stop!"

Madara, recalling Minato's situation, thought that since Kaito had managed to revive Minato with Rinne Rebirth without dying, perhaps the technique didn't actually kill the user. So why not do Obito a favor?

And so, Madara replied,

"Then I'll bring Rin back."

Obito hadn't expected Madara to seriously attempt reviving Rin. He had asked Kaito about Rinne Rebirth before, and Kaito had told him that the caster still dies—his own version was a modified one.

Madara's decision was practically suicide. Though Obito had always claimed he wanted to kill Madara, he never truly meant it—just like Madara always defeated him without ever killing him.

But Uchiha were stubborn to the extreme. Once they set their mind on something, it was nearly impossible to change. And Madara embodied that to the fullest. Even when Obito told him that using Rinne Rebirth meant certain death, Madara still headed straight for the cemetery.

With no other choice, Obito had rushed here to seek Kaito's help.
