Chapter 3 - Chapter 2 – The War He Foretold

[Solara – Observation Dome, Year 1][Earth Time: 1939–1945]

Atatürk stood alone beneath the glowing arc of the Observation Dome. Before him, Earth rotated in a massive holographic sphere, its continents glowing with tension.

The projection zoomed in.London ablaze.Warsaw crumbling.Berlin rising like a wounded beast. And in the distance... Hiroshima and Nagasaki, glowing with unnatural fire.

"So it has begun," he whispered.

Solara's voice appeared beside him, calm but grave.

"A global conflict. More destructive than anything your species has known."

Atatürk clenched his fists behind his back. Not from shock. But from recognition.

"I warned them," he said. "I saw the signs long before I left."

[Flashback: Istanbul, 1933 – Dinner with Field Marshal Birdwood]

The night had been calm, the Bosphorus a ribbon of silver.Birdwood had raised a glass.

"Kemal, will this fragile peace last?"

Atatürk had stared out across the water, voice low but steady:

"This peace is illusion. Europe has not healed—it only bleeds in silence.Germany will rise again. The world is sleepwalking into fire. That crazy man in Germany will throw the world in to the firepit."

Birdwood had chuckled.

"You're too grim, my friend."

But Atatürk hadn't smiled back.

"I've seen the pattern. The drums of war are already beating. You just haven't heard them yet."

[Back to Solara – 1945 Earth View]

Atomic fire. Screams that never reached the stars.Entire cities blinked out like candles.

Solara watched Atatürk, silent.

"They took the atom and made it into a god of death," he murmured."Science without conscience is a blade with no hilt."

[Training Module: Global Crisis Pattern Analysis – Level 2]

Objective: Understand the causes behind large-scale human conflict

Method: Emotional + Political + Economic thread mapping

Result: Predictive modeling for systemic collapse and recovery

Atatürk immersed himself in simulation after simulation:Versailles. The economic collapse. The rise of fascism. He saw it all as systems, and systems could be broken—or rebuilt.

"Empires fall when memory fails. And peace becomes arrogance when not guarded with wisdom."

[Turkey: The Neutral Watcher]

Atatürk shifted the projection. His homeland glowed in gold. Just as in its heyday

Turkey had not joined the war.He nodded, almost relieved.

"İsmet made the right choice.Turkey wasn't ready for another war.We needed time. And survival is a form of resistance."

But still... he worried.

"Peace is not the absence of war.It is the presence of preparation."

Excerpt from Solara Journal – Day 5

Earth Crisis Observation

• WWII was not a surprise. It was inevitable.• Ideology without justice becomes a tool of hate.• Power concentrated without empathy becomes tyranny.• Humanity must learn: Weapons evolve. Minds must evolve faster.• My people stayed out. That was wisdom. But wisdom must be followed by progress. Or it dies.
