The sky broke open like shattered glass.
At first, everyone thought it was a storm — dark clouds twisting into spirals, thunder rolling across the city of New Delhi. But Mohit knew something was wrong. He stood on the roof of his apartment building, staring at the rift spreading above the clouds — a luminous tear glowing gold and crimson.
Then, from that tear, something stepped out.
A man — no, a god.
Tall, radiant, draped in light. His eyes burned like molten stars.
"Humanity has forgotten the old order," the being spoke, his voice echoing through every device, every speaker, every mind on Earth. "Your machines mock creation. Your hands defy the divine. Judgment begins."
And just like that, lightning fell — not from clouds, but from the heavens themselves.
Cities burned. Satellites fell from orbit. Oceans boiled where divine fire struck. Governments collapsed in hours. The world ended... almost.
But Mohit did not kneel.
He clenched his fists, his heart pounding like thunder. The wind tore through his black jacket, sparks of electricity flickering around him — faint, but growing.
Because deep within his DNA, something ancient stirred.
Something forbidden — a remnant of the gods themselves.
A voice whispered in his mind:
"You were never meant to exist, Mohit… yet you are the key."
He didn't understand it then — that he was born from an experiment to fuse divine essence with human will, a secret project called GENESIS-9, hidden beneath the Indian Space Research facility. A project abandoned… until now.
As the world fell into chaos, Mohit made a vow.
"If gods want war," he whispered, "then I'll give them one."
And thus began the legend of the Godslayer —
the man who would defy heaven to save Earth.
