At the edge of an insignificant spiral galaxy, hidden beneath a veil of cosmic ignorance, floated a fragile blue planet known as Earth.
To mortals, it was a world of steel cities, decaying faith, and fading myths. But to the most ancient and transcendent force in existence—the Originverse Sect—this forgotten world was The Holy Land.
The birthplace of their Paragon, Xerath Aeonshade.
The cradle of the Eternalverse.
No one beyond Level 99 could stay on Earth permanently. Its karmic fabric and spatial shell could not bear the presence of higher realm entities—except the scattered avatars of ancestors. These avatars acted in silence, watching, guiding... and waiting.
Chapter 1: The Fated One of Earth
He was born under a red sky, during the collapse of a dead satellite that most called a meteor shower.
His name was Lin Fei.
Unremarkable at first—just another orphan in the outer discipline of the Earthbound sect. But unknown to the elders, Lin Fei's soul flickered with a dormant Ancestral Spark, a resonance rarely seen outside the Metaverse realms.
He climbed from Level 1 to Level 9 in a year, a feat only the sect's records whispered about.
By the time he reached Level 99, he could obliterate cities with a gesture, warp time across continents, and read echoes of fate in the wind. But he was still confined by the Earth's upper limit.
He never saw the stars as they truly were.
He never knew the sect he served—so modest, so strict—was merely a gateway node of the Originverse Sect.
To him, the "Holyland" was just a myth.
To the sect... Lin Fei was a disturbance in the fabric.
The Breaking of Fate
In his final year, Lin Fei challenged the Void Mirror of Heaven, a secret test constructed eons ago by an ancestor's avatar.
It was supposed to end in failure.
Instead, it shattered.
From within, a shard floated toward him—a radiant fragment of reality not native to Earth. It pulsed with ancient law scripts… unfamiliar even to the avatar hidden in the void above.
It was a Shard of the Outer Eternalverse.
As Lin Fei absorbed it, visions crashed into his mind—planets forged in one breath, eternal rivers of time, beings that made metaverses collapse with a thought. He screamed. The Earth itself shuddered.
And then...
He died.
His soul cracked, shredded by truths not meant for the unawakened.
From Death, a New Ascension
The silent ancestors watched with ancient calm.
One of them—an avatar fragment of Xerath Aeonshade himself—stepped forth.
Within Lin Fei's destroyed essence, he found a thread. Not just knowledge.
Origin.
A true seed from the Eternalverse's outer shell, formed when eternal beings clashed in realms beyond even sub-entities. Comprehending even a portion of it elevated Xerath's avatar to a half-step Eternal—a state impossible within the confines of this Holy Land.
He sealed the shard deep beneath the Earth in a vault of silence.
He spoke aloud only once:
"This one... will be remembered. The fated mistake of the lower realm that gave rise to the next chapter of Eternal Order."
Unseen Truths
None on Earth knew the truth.
Lin Fei was recorded as a "failed core disciple" in the logs. His grave was left unmarked.
But across the Eternalverse, deep within the Originverse Throne Realm, the true body of Xerath Aeonshade stirred. His eye opened briefly.
He saw a future that now split.
A future where one shard had shifted countless karmic destinies.
"A fragment has returned from where we were banished... the Eternal calls again."
