After leaving the supreme realm, Raizel teleported away to a different world. It was a huge world filled with endless diamond castles. Refreshing air and a cloudy sky together created a gloomy presence all around the world. It was silent, but the presence of powerful individuals made the atmosphere even more gloomy, as it seemed to be.
Inside a diamond castle in the center of the world, there wasn't really any presence at all, as it was completely empty without a single living being.
A magic portal appeared inside, a golden portal brimming with magic.
Raizel slowly stepped out of the golden portal and set his foot in the castle. Even though Raizel's massive presence always created an imposing aura everywhere, here in this castle, it was a blank presence without even a trace of magic power around him. It appeared that Raizel had simply removed his magical presence to hide himself.
Right after he set his foot on the ground, someone spoke up from behind.
"I wasn't expecting your visit at this moment, that was surprising," that person said. It was a gentle and feminine voice.
Raizel smiled without moving his gaze, then slowly turned toward the woman standing a short distance away.
"It was supposed to happen, and you know that already," Raizel replied to the woman while looking at her.
"After all, you are a sacred spirit who wanted to help me out. I was definitely going to ask you for further help, right?" he added.
The person appeared to be a tall woman with very long dark hair and a gentle face. She was wearing a majestic, multi-layered gown. Her gentle eyes seemed to glow with golden light. She smiled a bit and spoke up.
"You can say that. I wanted to help you, and I did." She took a casual breath, then raised her brow and put her gaze directly on Raizel.
"And I will continue helping you," she added.
"I knew it. Looks like I'm lucky, finally finding a strong comrade who still has the faith to help me," Raizel replied with a smile.
"I know what happened with Renric, but I can't really blame him. After all, a mortal can't possibly hold enough strength to run and run until the end," she said slowly, taking several breaths in between.
"Maybe he can, or maybe he can't. I don't know the answer myself," Raizel replied.
"I believe you still have the strength, right, Elesia?" he added, leaving a question.
Elesia smiled as she slowly raised her gaze toward Raizel and spoke up, "I will always hold faith in myself until the conclusion." Her eyes glowed as she kept staring at Raizel.
"But this time, I want to fight alongside you from the front, like a warrior," she added afterward.
"I knew it. And that's why I'm here in this castle," Raizel replied, smiling afterward.
"And now, I have some fellow comrades to follow me, to fight alongside me," he added.
Elesia smiled a bit without saying a word. As she didn't reply, Raizel drew a magic portal in front of them.
"Can we go meet them, Elesia?" Raizel asked.
"Why not?" Elesia replied, a bit of excitement appearing in her eyes.
Raizel slowly stepped into the portal and disappeared. Following Raizel, Elesia entered the portal, and right afterward, the portal disappeared. The castle was left alone without any presence of life.
Following that, the 1st supreme realm appeared before us. As Raizel had left the rest of them there, they remained standing and chattering among themselves.
A magic portal appeared in front of them, soon revealing the presence of Raizel and Elesia as they stepped out one by one.
"So you are finally back—that was quick," Maria said as soon as they appeared.
"I told you, I would be back soon," Raizel replied.
"Let me introduce Elesia to you guys. Elesia is a sacred spirit who helped me countless times in the past. She will join us from now on as a comrade," Raizel added quickly.
"That's surprising—a sacred spirit joining us?" Marco said, showing a hint of surprise.
"Could be, but yes, she will be our new comrade in this journey," Raizel replied.
"Hello everyone, it's Elesia," Elesia said with a slightly shy tone.
Maria grabbed her hand and spoke with a smile, "No need to be shy—it's Maria here."
Elesia smiled a bit at Maria in reply.
"That's Marco; I met him in this realm along with Maria," Raizel said, pointing his index finger toward Marco.
"Hello, Elesia, it's Marco," Marco said with a smile.
"I don't think Aizis needs an introduction to Elesia—you two are already well aware of each other, right?" Raizel said, glancing at Aizis with narrowed eyes.
Both Aizis and Elesia nodded slightly in agreement.
"Maria, I want you to take Elesia to your place. I believe it will be the best place for her to stay," Raizel said, looking at Maria.
"I can do that for sure. Let's go, Elesia," Maria replied, smiling at her afterward.
Without further words, Maria created a magic portal and stepped inside. Following Maria, Elesia entered the portal, and it disappeared right after.
"So then, I believe it's time for us to leave as well," Marco said.
Right afterward, he drew a magic circle and disappeared. Following him, the other two also vanished, leaving no words behind.
Days passed since then. As Raizel and his allies prepared for the final battle against the sacred spirits, he contracted with multiple supreme rulers, and every single one of them agreed to join him. In time, Raizel slowly managed to return most of his magic power to his arsenal. As for Marco and Maria, the mana enforcement from the retainers gradually increased their magic power to the point where they could easily take on sacred spirits without much trouble.
But one question kept bothering Raizel—what was the form Marco had used in his battle with Lumisha? Was he hiding something, or was Marco himself unaware of the power he held? Raizel kept the question in his mind without sharing it with anyone, wanting Marco to reveal it himself.
Several days later, a morning came with a clouded sky and the wild, aggressive presence of wind sweeping across the world. Raizel slowly stepped out of his home and gathered with the others on the street in front of it. Without a word, they teleported away, following Raizel through a magic portal.
It was a cloudy day, and the entire realm lay silent and inactive—no whispers, no movement.
When they emerged from the portal, they found themselves in a world both unknown yet familiar to Raizel—a world he had visited only days ago. A world of countless castles made from pure diamond. A world with a gloomy presence. A world without the visible appearance of countless powerful individuals. To the naked eye, it seemed completely empty, but the magic power lingering in the air betrayed the presence of beings that kept it oppressive and heavy.
It was the world of the sacred spirits—the holy world. The world where every single sacred spirit lived. Even though each sacred spirit owned a world of their own—much like the supreme rulers—they mostly lived in the holy world, believing it to be a sacred place where they should dwell, not in a casual world.
The worlds owned by sacred spirits were mostly inhabited by regular beings without extraordinary abilities. The sacred spirits were the kings of those worlds, ruling by their own laws.
This time, none of them hid their magic presence as they stepped into the holy world. As soon as they appeared, their aura drew the attention of every sacred spirit nearby, surprising them.
Within seconds, multiple sacred spirits emerged from their castles. All wore long, majestic coats with intricate artwork embroidered on their surfaces. Their magic power darkened the surroundings further, drawing some heavy and dark clouds above.
Raizel smiled slightly, raised his left hand, and sent a slash of magic power toward one of the castles. The slash cut it cleanly into pieces.
Immediately afterward, a female sacred spirit with dark purple hair and a hostile expression rushed toward Raizel. But before she could advance, a hand blocked her path, hand of another sacred spirit, this one with dark hair and a casual smile.
"So, everyone is here to welcome us," Aizis spoke.
"But I didn't expect them to do it with such hostility," he added, glaring at the purple-haired girl.
"Shut up! How dare y—" she shouted, but her words stopped abruptly as a spark of golden light flashed from Aizis's eyes, striking her head. She froze, unable to continue. It was a magic spell that allowed the user to press their magic power directly into an opponent's mind—a pressure attack, invisible but highly effective.
"I'm absolutely not here to pick a fight with you guys, but…" Aizis said, leaving the sentence unfinished with a smile.
Raizel stepped forward from the group and lifted his gaze toward the largest castle in the realm—the one belonging to the ruler of the holy world, the king of sacred spirits. Raising his brow, he spoke.
"From this moment, I, Raizel, declare the concluding war against the sacred spirits," he said, loudly yet slowly.
No one replied. Not a single sacred spirit spoke. They just stood there, expressionless at his words.
After a few moments, a laugh echoed from behind. As the gathered spirits parted, they revealed the figure of a sacred spirit with his entire appearance being hidden under a dark shadow.
"The story is surely chaotic. Everywhere I look, I see only destruction. It's painful, isn't it?" he said slowly.
"If I want to end the chaos, it seems I must join it. In the end, either of us will conclude the chaos and carry the story forward. Let's see who will be the one to do it," he added, still smiling.
Without another word, Raizel created a magic portal and stepped inside. Following him, the others left the holy world, and the portal vanished behind them.
The final bloodlust war between the supreme rulers and the sacred spirits had begun.
