**Rimuru (looking around):**
"Seems like Japan… Modern-day? No monsters. No magic aura. Just… normal."
**Ciel (calm):**
> *"Correction: No *visible* aura. This world is under a spiritual suppression field. Strong barrier detection underway…"*
**Veldora (cracking knuckles):**
"No visible monsters? Boring."
**Ramiris (hovering):**
"There's a creepy feeling, though. Like something's *watching* us."
**Milim (grinning):**
"Ooooh! Maybe this world has ghost-type monsters?! Let's punch one!"
**Ciel:**
> *"Recommendation: Avoid drawing attention. You are currently the most magical beings in a spiritually sensitive realm."*

**Suddenly—four strangers pass the gate outside. Their presence is like a crashing tsunami of spiritual energy.**
Miko's heart skips a beat. A chill runs down her spine.
**Miko (stiff):**
*"Wh... What the hell are they…?"*
**Behind Rimuru stands a massive, *distorted*, shadowy spirit—screaming in silence—yet it *won't* approach him. It just… trembles.**

**Rimuru (holding a bento):**
"These are seriously good. Convenience stores are a gift."
**Ramiris (poking a soda bottle):**
"Why's everything carbonated? Even tea?"
**Milim (slurping noodles):**
"FOOD OF THE GODS!"
**Veldora (muttering):**
"Still no enemies…"
Suddenly, a grotesque spirit—twisted and hulking—slithers through the ceiling tiles. Miko, entering behind them, freezes.
She sees it approach Milim. Clawed, dripping, vile.
**Miko (inner monologue):**
*"Don't react… Don't look… Don't—"*
**Milim (tilting head):**
"Hmm?"
She casually turns, *smiles at the spirit*, and *flicks her finger*. A micro-shockwave shatters the floor tiles. The ghost disintegrates into glittering ash.
**Miko (pale):**
*"Wha— She… She saw it? And just… destroyed it?!"*

**Rimuru (soft smile):**
"Yeah. I know what it's like to carry something no one else sees."
They walk past a swarm of ghosts. Rimuru's aura alone causes them to dissolve.
**Miko (whispers):**
"Who... *what* are you people?"
**Rimuru (chuckling):**
"Travelers. Let's say... we're here on ghost patrol for now."

"YOUR FEAR FEEDS IT? THEN FEAR *ME*, YOU OVERGROWN CANDLE!"
He breathes out a blast of dragon aura that tears through the spirit's form, causing it to burst.
**Hana (confused, holding a donut):**
"What just happened?"
**Miko (genuinely smiling):**
*"I'm not alone anymore."*
