'Somewhere we will not be interrupted?' The words carried a strange weight.
"This is far enough, state whatever you have to say, I have other things to do," I said, stopping a few steps away from her.
A glint flickered through her eyes, before she forced a smile that disappeared as soon as it came. "Sure." Irene swallowed, walking closer to me.
"It's about Seraphina. Now that the witches are without a queen, everything has become disorganised, and there is no plan to return home soon. Seraphina is our only home as she will be the future queen of the witches." She paused studying my expression.
I folded my hands behind my back, and my expression remained the same. "And how does this relate to me?"
She took another step closer. "Seraphina is having problems with awakening her inheritance and the ancestors' memories, without this the witches' situation would become dire."
"I still don't see how it is related to me," I said coldly.
