"Sir, as you requested, the other side of the portal leads to the Backup Courtroom.
That area is rarely visited and normally completely deserted—perfect for your needs."
The Black female TVA agent reported seriously.
Alex nodded. He understood.
But he did not immediately rush inside.
Instead, he extended his vast spiritual sense through the portal, sweeping through the Backup Courtroom and the surrounding five-hundred-meter radius.
A full aerial scan—
clean.
"Alright. I'll go take a look."
He reassured the mutants, then stepped into the portal.
A blink.
Alex appeared inside the TVA.
He immediately focused—
And his expression brightened.
His powers were still there.
Perfect.
But he wasn't careless. After thinking for a second, he issued another order:
"Listen. Close the portal. Open it again in ten seconds. Understood?"
He needed to be fully sealed inside the TVA to confirm his abilities wouldn't vanish.
"Yes, sir."
The agent shut the portal.
SWISH.
The golden doorway vanished completely.
Only now was Alex truly inside the TVA—
with his link to his universe fully cut.
If he still had powers now…
then nothing the TVA used would work on him.
Alex tested again.
A slow smile spread across his face.
"Looks like the system really does sit above the TVA."
His powers remained.
If so—
then why hesitate?
The TVA, in Alex's eyes, was trash.
He could shred it with one hand.
Even Conqueror Kang, the mastermind—
so what?
Kang was just a man with time-travel tech.
And Marvel's timeline logic was famously awful—
Changing the past doesn't change the future.
Meaning Kang couldn't go back and kill Alex as a child.
It wouldn't affect the present Alex at all.
If that trick didn't work, what cards did Kang even have?
This mission was basically guaranteed.
Alex was in a great mood.
VMMM—
Ten seconds passed.
A new portal opened behind him.
"Alex! How is it?!"
Raven asked urgently.
Everyone stared at him.
"Everyone—just wait for good news."
Alex smiled calmly.
The room erupted with excitement.
"Give me a set of portal equipment."
Alex ordered.
The mind-controlled agent immediately handed him a second TVA device.
"Close the portal."
Alex waved, then turned and strode out of the Backup Courtroom.
And then—
He unleashed his colossal psychic field.
It flooded the entire TVA.
Yes, the entire TVA.
The place wasn't large by his standards—
his psychic power easily enveloped everything.
Instantly, every corner of the facility unfolded in his mind.
Including the three so-called Time-Keepers—
or rather, Kang's puppets.
Found immediately.
Well then—
Time to have a little "talk."
Alex confidently strode forward.
"Stop right there! Identify yourself!"
Two TVA agents rounded a corner and spotted him.
Both immediately sensed something was wrong—
He wasn't TVA staff,
but he also wasn't wearing a prisoner's collar.
"STAND STILL!"
K-chak!
Both activated their batons and charged.
Alex didn't even look at them.
He lazily waved a hand.
BANG!
Both agents were flung like rag dolls, slammed into a wall, and crumpled onto the floor.
Alarm sirens erupted.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
Clattering footsteps echoed.
Two full squads of fully-armed TVA troopers rushed down the corridor, blocking Alex's path.
"Time Variant! Surrender immediately!"
The squad leader shouted after scanning his pad—which displayed Alex's face.
All weapons aimed at Alex.
Alex didn't acknowledge them.
He raised a hand—
WHOOSH!!!
Dozens of TVA agents screamed as they were blasted backward like leaves in a storm.
Bodies crashed into walls, pillars, and each other, collapsing in a chaotic heap.
"Impossible!"
"No way—how does he still have powers?!"
"This is the TVA! That's impossible!!"
Shock and terror filled their eyes.
This was the TVA—
the place where all abilities were stripped away.
Yet this man—
Still had everything?!
If they hadn't witnessed it with their own eyes, they'd never believe it.
