In the photo, she looked so tiny, with round chubby cheeks and thick black hair, totally adorable.
Jeffrey never thought he could be so drawn to a child, but the moment he looked at the little girl in the picture, something warm spread in his chest.
He couldn't help but think that if this little version of her were standing in front of him right now, he'd probably scoop her up without hesitation and smother her with kisses.
Was it just because this child was her? Her younger self?
