She quickly said, "That album holds my most precious memories."
Jeffrey frowned a little. "You were really willing to risk your life for that album? Yesterday you were lucky. It was just a minor burn on your fingers. But what if the fire had spread more?"
"This album is really important to me!" Rachel said firmly.
"More important than your hands?" His voice turned serious, a little cold. "You'd seriously give up your hands for an album?"
"It is important," Rachel said, taking a deep breath. "Even if I lost both my hands, I'd still want to keep it."
To her, the album wasn't just some photos. It was something way deeper than that.
