A week later, Minato and Kushina's wedding ceremony was held smoothly.
Though the preparation had been a bit rushed, it wasn't at all half-hearted.
Of course, this was all thanks to Elder Kawaki and Sister Tsunade who had made thorough arrangements in advance.
The newly built Namikaze mansion finally welcomed its master and mistress on this day.
After being elected Hokage, Minato now got married—truly a double blessing. His smile hadn't faded from his face the entire time.
Once he brought Kushina from the Senju mansion to their home, Kawaki and Tsunade were already seated formally at the main seats, just waiting for the newlyweds to bow.
Amidst blessings from numerous relatives and friends, both Minato and Kushina wore expressions of happiness.
They walked solemnly toward Kawaki and Tsunade, then knelt down with deep sincerity.
They knelt willingly—wholeheartedly.
Kawaki had raised Minato for over ten years as his teacher—an act of grace as heavy as a mountain.
And after Lady Mito's passing, Tsunade was the only remaining close family Kushina had in Konoha.
Besides these two, probably nobody else would have deserved to sit in those honored positions.
"So? Is this house good enough for you?"
Elder Kawaki wore an expression of satisfaction, finally witnessing this day.
Serving as elder witness for Forever the Little Brother and The Fiery Habanero's wedding—he couldn't have felt more delighted.
It fed his uniquely eccentric sense of vanity in ways no one could understand.
"Thank you, Teacher. I really like it."
Minato wasn't just flattering him either—the scale and decoration of this mansion were beyond perfect.
"Glad you do."
"If you didn't get married soon, I was afraid this place might rot in my hands."
Kawaki teased playfully. Minato awkwardly scratched his head.
"You're surprisingly quiet today, girl," Tsunade curiously turned toward Kushina. From what she knew about Kushina, there was no way she'd stay silent like this.
"Sister Tsunade… I need to go pee," Kushina whispered softly, her voice barely audible.
As soon as she finished speaking, her face turned bright red in an instant.
She mentally scolded herself for drinking so much water earlier.
"Hah! I give up on you already."
"When will you ever use your brain?"
Tsunade raised her finger threateningly toward Kushina's forehead, but eventually retracted it.
It was their wedding day—she needed to save some dignity for the newlyweds today.
"Look at this ditz of a bride you married."
"Let's get this started already."
Kawaki barely restrained his laughter. With those two words, Kushina lowered her head even further.
Right after the tea-serving ceremony concluded, Kushina shoved a thick red envelope into Minato's hand and bolted off like she was escaping.
Leaving Minato standing there completely stunned.
"Don't just stand around like an idiot."
"It's your big day—should I have to take care of all the guests too?"
Unlike Tsunade, Kawaki hadn't considered such things thoroughly. He gave Minato a light kick in the butt.
"Right, I'll go right away."
Minato snapped back to reality and quickly headed toward the guests.
By the time Kushina returned after finishing her business, Minato had already consumed quite a bit of alcohol.
His friends, led by Nawaki, hadn't let him off easy at all.
Congratulations on becoming Hokage? Minato drinks.
Congratulations on winning the beauty? Minato still drinks.
Wishing you many children soon. Minato still had his share to drink.
Watching Minato down cup after cup, Kushina's anger flared.
You actually had the guts to mess with my man?
Without hesitation, Kushina rushed headfirst into the chaos.
Unfortunately, she'd overestimated her strength. The result was inevitable.
Now both Minato and Kushina were dead drunk.
After the guests left, servants began cleaning up the mess. Tsunade looked at the newlyweds slumped over the table—half-annoyed, half-amused.
"You call yourself Big bro?"
"He hasn't even had kids yet, and you already have?"
Kawaki smacked Nawaki right on the back of the head. He didn't even need to think to know who started this.
"Ouch! Can't blame a guy for being happy, right?"
Same old familiar punch behind it—painful but not serious.
Nawaki winced and shrugged helplessly, his breath stinking of sake, eyes glassy.
He really hadn't meant any harm. Just hadn't thought things through.
"Miss Misaki, take your honey home."
Tsunade waved Misaki over and watched them leave.
"Now what do we do?"
Kawaki frowned, looking at Minato and Kushina, both already snoring loudly.
One couldn't refuse a drink, the other wouldn't stop once she started—so getting drunk wasn't all that surprising.
"What else can we do?"
"Just get 'em to their room."
Tsunade picked up Kushina like a little chick and strode toward the bridal chamber.
"Even on such an important day, you still managed to get wasted."
Kawaki gave Minato a disappointed look before grabbing him without ceremony.
Thump. Thump.
Kushina and Minato each landed on the bed with a heavy thump.
"What are you stuffing in her mouth?"
Seeing Tsunade grinning mischievously, Kawaki couldn't help but worry she might've gone too far.
"Anti-hangover pill."
"You thought I drugged her?"
With her task done, Tsunade wiped her hands off dismissively.
"No way—I mean, yeah, I figured it was just medicine."
Kawaki laughed awkwardly to hide his embarrassment. Guess he was just being too perverted.
"Let's go."
Tsunade even thoughtfully locked the door behind Minato and Kushina before disappearing inside with Kawaki.
About fifteen minutes later, Tsunade's "anti-hangover pill" kicked in.
Minato scratched his neck, feeling unusually hot.
Half-opening his eyes, he realized he was already back in the bedroom.
Though he couldn't recall exactly how he got there, his mind was becoming clearer by the second.
The haze of alcohol quickly faded, replaced by a rising warmth.
Tearing open her outer robe, Kushina stirred awake.
"I'm so hot, Minato."
Kushina turned over, opened her eyes and found herself staring at Minato's face—and his muscular chest.
As if pulled by some invisible force, she reached out instinctively.
Her fingers met scalding skin, alive with Minato's powerful heartbeat.
"Kushina."
"Hmm?"
Minato called softly. Kushina responded with a quiet hum.
Then, slowly, they drew closer together, their breaths mingling.
[Moan]
Minato made the first move, sealing Kushina's lips with a bold kiss.
Kushina would never allow herself to be dominated so easily. Moments later, she rolled him over and straddled Minato.
As their lips finally parted, both reached for each other's clothes.
No words were needed—actions spoke louder than words.
As the garments fell to the floor, they finally laid bare their souls to one another.
Seeing Kushina before him—her red hair cascading over her shoulders, cheeks flushed, eyes brimming with tenderness—raw desire surged through Minato.
His breathing grew heavier and heavier. Kushina felt a faint sense of danger rising from below.
"Don't move. Let me take the lead."
Realizing what was happening, Kushina blushed deeply but still firmly pressed Minato back down as he tried to rise.
Up and down, back and forth—their expressions shifted in vastly different ways.
A passionate battle had officially begun!!!
The creaking cot mingled with sensual panting that echoed in the room for a long time.
"You actually gave me real hangover medicine?"
After returning home, Kawaki couldn't stop thinking about it. How could sharing a single blanket possibly lead to sleeping like *that*?
Was it only him who was thinking such things?
"Yeah, though I added a little something extra."
Tsunade's smile made Kawaki sigh in relief.
Indeed, no ordinary family could end up living together like this.
