Warning:
English is not my native language, I am just learning to write in it, so there will be mistakes. I am also not very good at writing stories, so please give me time to get started, and even better, point out my mistakes. I have a plot in my head, and it needs time to unfold, so for the first ten chapters, I will most likely be repeating myself or experimenting, trying to mold something out of the mess I have.
Good luck

Reincarnation is a strange concept that many of us have thought about at least once in our lives. Some may have thought about it fleetingly, while others may have dreamed of being transported to a fictional world and becoming a better version of themselves by reading books or watching movies.
I used to think that way too, because I just turned 15 a couple of days ago. At 12, I became interested in anime, manga, and light novels. I dreamed of a new world full of new people, perhaps elves, gnomes, demons, angels, or even dragons. It all seemed so exciting: golden palaces, epic battles, and, of course, magic.
Why am I thinking about this now?
Just a week ago, to be precise, I was reborn. As soon as I broke away from the white ceiling with green and yellow runes, I took a deep breath. I got ready, knowing that my new parents would arrive around this time.
Bam!
The door flew open with a loud bang that pierced my sensitive ears. I saw my supposed father again, followed by my new mother.
My father, whose name I didn't even know, was a man in his thirties, about 190 cm tall, with a straight back and neatly combed black hair. His piercing silver eyes always made me feel uneasy. He approached me, or rather my cradle, and uttered a string of incoherent sounds. I thought that reborn people usually understood the language of the new world right away, but apparently I wasn't on that list.
My new mother, about 165 cm tall, with soft features, black eyes, and white hair braided into pigtails, began to rock me gently, smiling foolishly and poking my cheek, constantly muttering words I didn't understand. I only understood one word — my name.
In this life, my name is Lucius.
If I got involved in some silly story about reincarnation, I would have to reveal my cheat code right now. And yes, my lips broke into a smile from the emotions overflowing inside me.
I have a legendary system.
With that thought, I summoned the system, which appeared before me in shades of red. My little avatar was in the system, and next to it was the word "edit."
Name: Lucius Blackthorn
Age: 7 days
Race: Half-human, half-otherworldly (9)
Title: Reincarnated Soul (8), half-otherworldly (9)
Gifts (not evaluated): Eternal Blessings and ##########
Skills: Perfect Memory (4)
It looks rough and encoded with something I can't see yet, but when I mentally clicked on the "Eternal Blessings" skill, I was happy to see the effect.
Eternal Blessings is an infinite doubling of everything that fits in the inventory of this skill for 24 hours. Limitation: the number of slots for multiplying items is limited to 10. So, if I put one tangerine in there, in 24 hours I will have two, in another 24 hours — four, and so on, until I have ten. These ten will be multiplied by two indefinitely.
My joy seemed to go beyond my consciousness when my mother, Lucille Blackthorn, began to poke and kiss my chubby baby cheeks even more energetically, murmuring happily.
Again, there were sounds I didn't understand, but even without knowing what they meant, my father's tone made me, my mother, and everyone standing nearby freeze in place. After saying a few more words, he gave me a strange look, turned around, and left. A second later, my mother, pale, carefully laid me down on the crib, kissed me on the cheek, and went after him.
Ah, how tiresome it all is! Their behavior and surroundings remind me of those aristocratic families in novels, where boys are raised from childhood and daughters are prepared to be given away to another noble family.
Being a newborn sucks. All I can do is pee and poop myself, and drink milk from the boobs of my new mother, who looked to be only 18 or 20 years old. Since I couldn't do anything else without dying of boredom, I decided to start meditating, like in a manga about reincarnation, trying to find the core of mana or something like that, and it was, to put it mildly, tedious.
Understanding something I didn't understand at all was incredibly difficult, but since I had nothing else to do, I worked hard at it. Fortunately, my perfect memory worked as it should, further developing my intelligence and not letting me forget even the most useless memories.
Finally, after two months of trying to look inside myself, I saw bright white lights of different sizes scattered throughout my body. It was strange, but that was the only way I could describe it, and like a hundredth-level otaku, I immediately began to gather them together, trying to collect them in the center of my body.
Three more months passed, and I achieved some results.
First, I now understand what everyone around me is saying, thanks to my perfect memory and the nannies who worked with me every day.
Secondly, at five months, I realized that I was very close to walking, rather than crawling on my knees or rolling around. Perhaps this is the influence of mana, because otherwise I cannot explain this strength. As for mana, there has been progress, but perhaps this is due to the child's body or something else, but it was difficult.
I gathered about 10% of all the mana in my body, and over the last month, the speed has clearly started to increase, either because of my body's growth or because I discovered a certain pattern that allowed me to better understand what to do.

I know the first chapter is short, but it was just an introduction. In the following chapters, we will build the world and get to know the main character's family.
Thank you for reading.
