"Wow! Animator LI, I'm a fan of your works. Where do you get such ideas from? They are truly amazing creations." Lily's father really praised Eli's talent.
Eli looked at Lily before looking at his father-in-law and said "That's my pleasure, sir."
"Come on, stop calling me sir, you can call me Dad." Lily's father was really impressed. He even allowed her to call him dad.
Eli nodded and replied "Thank you, Dad. you can rest assured, I'll take good care of Lily" and he looked at her.
Lily's father nodded and said "Hmm, you have to. Don't bully my princess. I'm seriously telling you, If you do anything to upset her, so many people come after you. Be careful."
"Hmm" Eli nodded understanding his meaning and they talked about some other things before Lily's father asked him. "Well, you guys want to get married tomorrow. Can I talk to your family?"
"Do you want to talk to me, Mr.Cela?" Grandfather Allen asked him.
"No, No, I want to talk to ~ " he trailed off his sentence and looked back and forth between Eli and Grandfather Allen.
"Dad, he's my grandfather. You can talk to him." Eli answered him smoothly but it took Lily's father a while to process it.
"Mr.Allen, is he your grandson?" Mark asked grandfather Allen.
"Yes. He is." grandfather Allen replied.
Lily's father nodded and said "I hope your family takes good care of my daughter. She's our princess. We are keeping her in your hands."
"We will take good care of your princess and you can rest assured, she is in safe hands." Grandfather Allen replied.
"Thank you, Mr.Allen. Then, we will take our leave now." He said to Grandfather Allen.
Grandfather Allen nodded and Lily's parents stood up to leave.
"Take care, Mr.Allen" Selina said before leaving.
"My princess, we are leaving now. Come home soon." Lily's father reminded her and turned to Eli and said, "My princess is in your care. Be careful."
Eli nodded and put his hand on her shoulder, assuring him. Lily smiled and Selina bid them farewell.
After they left, Grandfather Allen talked to Lily and Eli about tomorrow's plans. After Grandfather Allen was discharged from the hospital, they would go shopping and then register their marriage. They would have lunch with Lily's parents and then go to Eli's family later in the evening. Grandfather would make arrangements to welcome them with the family. Everything was settled.
After a while, Lily said goodbye to Grandfather Allen before leaving. "See you tomorrow, Grandfather." Grandfather Allen send her off with a smile.
After they left, Grandfather Allen called and ordered everyone in the family to be home tomorrow.
Eli and Lily got into the car. Eli started the car and drove towards Lily's flat. Lily looked out the window with a smile on her lips. She was enjoying the ride, humming a song, occasionally glancing at Eli. She was very happy.
As they approached the flat, Eli stopped the car on the side of the road. He unbuckled his seat belt. Lily looked at him, wondering what he was doing? In the next moment, Eli unbuckled her seat belt and pulled her into his arms.
He sat her on his lap, left side of her facing, and he wrapped his arms around her. Lily tried to sit comfortably on his thighs, afraid that she would slip off from his lap.
"Why?" Eli let her get comfortable before asking.
He asked her, why she wanted to get married tomorrow. Because, he knew, she had a lot on her plate right now. It would take time for her to marry him and he was willing to wait for her. But, she said, she wanted to marry him tomorrow.
Lily didn't answer his question and suggested, "Why don't you adjust your seat so it moves back." He did like what she said.
