"I never intended for us to operate in secrecy," Loki stated, his tone unwavering.

Not only Ging, but Morel, Knov, Razor, Pakunoda, and the others all turned to look at Loki with curious, questioning expressions.

A direct assault, rather than a stealth operation?

Without waiting for Ging to question him, Loki continued, If we were truly aiming for secrecy, forcing the scattered squad leaders back to the King would be counterproductive.

Chimera Ant squad leaders are formidable.

Loki adjusted his cloak. "Their return to the King's side would make the Chimera Ants far more difficult to handle for our small team."

Morel had harbored this same question when Loki first proposed gathering the Chimera Ants, but he hadn't voiced his concerns.

Of everyone present, only Ging felt comfortable engaging Loki in direct conversation.

Aside from Pakunoda and Baise, no one else dared to speak to Loki; the pressure was simply too immense.

Ging, regaining his composure, understood. He wasn't concerned about ordinary ants, but Morel, Razor, and the others were.

Even defeating them would require considerable effort.

The scattered Chimera Ant squad leaders, troop commanders, and ordinary soldiers returning to the King's side was certainly not ideal.

"Then why—" Ging began.

"I have a way to lure them back to the King without them taking action," Loki interrupted, a smirk playing on his lips.

These Chimera Ants, infused with human genes, and especially the squad leaders, are unlikely to be truly loyal to the King.

My analysis is this: when faced with danger, their first priority won't be the King's safety, but their own survival. They'll only assist the King when it benefits them.

When faced with a direct threat, they won't choose loyalty to the King.

Loki was referencing the Chimera Ant squad leaders in the original storyline.

While not human in form, their fusion with human genes had fundamentally altered their thinking.

"By launching a surprise attack on the King's palace, the Chimera Ant squad leaders won't act rashly. They'll know our target is the King."

"I believe they'll observe first, only acting when the King's chances of victory are high."

Ging was taken aback by Loki's perspective on the Chimera Ants.

Their views were entirely different.

While they considered the intelligence of some Chimera Ants, they didn't view them as Loki did—as humans, using human logic to predict their actions.

This analysis, while insightful, left Morel and the others both impressed and apprehensive.

If the Chimera Ants didn't act as Loki predicted, they would face a vastly larger enemy force.

The three Royal Guards alone were a formidable challenge; adding numerous squad leaders would exponentially increase the difficulty.

Ging, considering Loki's words, realized a crucial prerequisite: they needed to demonstrate a power that would instill fear in the Chimera Ant squad leaders during the surprise attack on the palace—a power comparable to the King's. Otherwise, the squad leaders wouldn't remain passive.

Just as Ging was about to ask Loki about the surprise attack, Loki stood abruptly.

"We're here."

Ging was taken aback.

Looking around, they had traveled a considerable distance.

They were surrounded by forest.

Morel and Knov also stood, gazing at the ground below Kurobina.

"This is..." Morel said, turning to Knov.

Knov nodded. They recognized the area; it wasn't unfamiliar.

Loki turned, his white cloak billowing slightly. His aura had retracted.

Now they felt the full force of the wind at this altitude, even while stationary.

At high speed, the wind would be far more intense.

Loki's aura was withstanding this wind resistance while maintaining Kurobina's speed.

Multitasking to this extent... "monster" and "freak" were inadequate descriptions.

"What are you doing here?" Ging asked.

Loki leaped from Kurobina.

Everyone rushed to the edge, looking down.

"A Chimera Ant nest?" Razor exclaimed, seeing the nest for the first time—its size was astonishing.

Knuckle frowned. "What's he planning?"

Loki, suspended in mid-air, stopped, flames erupting from seemingly empty space, gathering on his arm.

He raised his fist. "One punch should be enough," he stated dismissively.

Loki raised his fist, flames dancing wildly along his arm.

A blinding flash of light erupted. He looked down.

"Fire Fist!!!"

A fiery vortex slammed into the nest below. In an instant, the nest was engulfed in flames, collapsing rapidly.

Loki lowered his fist, nodding with satisfaction.

Seeing Loki's seemingly random attack on the abandoned nest, Ging sighed.

"Loki, you may not say it, but your anger towards the Chimera Ants is terrifying."

The others, still puzzled, nodded in agreement.

"The Chairman's death... that boy must be heartbroken," Knuckle murmured, turning away. Shoot patted his shoulder.

"Don't touch me, Shoot. I'm not touched," Knuckle retorted.

Razor shook his head.

Pakunoda glanced at Baise.

Only they knew Loki's actions weren't driven by grief or anger.

They knew Loki didn't act on emotion. Even if grieving Netero, he wouldn't randomly destroy a nest.

He had another reason.

As they suspected, after destroying the nest, a system notification appeared:

Ding! Nest destruction mission complete.

Reward: One S-rank summoning chance! Summoning... Congratulations! You have obtained a special item!

Loki hadn't expected a reward, but he'd completed the mission anyway.

A healing item would have been nice. But what was this special item?

An S-rank summon could yield special items?

Before Loki could celebrate, his system storage expanded.

It wasn't one item; it was many.
