Callith was confused; he thought Cameron had left the country, or at least that's how it seemed. I mainly focus on Callith and Haze's safety because if he lost the person closest to him, I'd have no idea what he would become next. I don't want vengeance to consume us.
He called himself Cameron, felt recognizable to my brother; did he know him? "Who is he?" I said.
"Remember that illegal possession you and Callum were at before the whole Ryoth incident? Well, it turned out he was the man who ran the whole place, along with another lab about testing on people to achieve superhumans." Said Callith.
"Then you can tell why I want you both dead. Now Leon, on the other hand... he looks like quite the perfect specmine, I think I'll kill your brother just for sport. Think of it as revenge." Said Cameron.
I find that really stupid, the fact that he wants my body for a specimen is ridiculous. Has he no idea what consequences could come of it? People would become so strong that criminals would have to hand over. Other countries would most likely steal the specmine for war, causing chaos and destruction.
"Why does my wife have to be a part of this? She doesn't even have any reason to be here!" Said Callith.
"Haven't you noticed the pattern, Callith? Almost everyone Leon cared about has died, which to me means it's a sign that he can't have anyone, especially what he took from me!" Said Cameron. Callith and I were confused by what he meant.
"...Oh, you don't remember, Leon? You dare live out your life and forget about her!? She was my wife, and you killed her. Not even a slice of mercy to her, she died after getting carbon monoxide poisoning!" Said Cameron.
"I did nothing to you, and I hurt no one. That's the old me." I said.
Cameron sighs and then pulls out a photo. "My name is Cameron Lammy, and my wife was Pam Lammy. The one who tried to help you, but you found a way out, helping yourself to freedom, I will never forget what you did. ...Just saving her would have gotten you on my good side, just Callith would have to suffer, and you could have been my apprentice." Said Cameron.
"And what then? You're just going to live like a rich, proud trillionaire? Happy for the many lives you ended in the prosecc... you're getting a one-way ticket to hell!" Said Callith.
"Oh, no, I won't die, you see, you guys are gifted with something special; Immortality. As a matter of fact, I got one last surprise for both of you. bring it out." Said Cameron.
With the help of many muscles, a large metal crate was hauled into the room. An atomic symbol was painted on the front. "Open it up!".
Inside was a giant cyborgetic exoskeleton armed with tanks of Ichor and blades to inject. "This right here is the Phan-13, she's built to withstand even the most dangerous conditions; explosions, pressure, and small, weak, pathetic god you you guys." Siad Cameron.
"That's a lot of talk coming from you. I figure you were working on something more like a giant nuclear bomb, as if the world had enough problems." I said.
"If you let us go, I will let you take our blood without a fight. Just don't hurt Haze!" Said Callith.
"Too late, I will kill all of you in here. No wistnesses." Said Cameron. He went inside the machine. Then a humming sound came from inside it, as he began to stomp up to us. "I can't even let my own men live. Sorry, everyone, your work has provided greatness for the world, I just can't risk word getting free."
I pull out my weapons, along with Callith, after he morphs his armor over his body. In the arms of the mech, long blades retracted out of it. "Haze I you to run! Get out of here!" Yelled Callith.
"I don't think so! Toggle on the incinerator!" Order Cameron. "Incinerator activated." System responds. The place heated up. Fire shot out of the vents, and gas filled the air. People were running to find a way out, sun for firing at the hard platings of the machine.
"We're going to be fried!" Said Haze.
"No, no, I will get us out! Turn it off, Cameron!" Said Callith.
"The incinerator will remain active until the place is completely sterile. Except for me, I am safe behind the protective shell of this machine." Said Cameron.
My vision began to blur as the heat lit up the place very intensely. The heat became so hot that most people's faces started melting, eyes boiled inside people heads. Callith wrapped around Haze tightly in an attempt to shield her from the heat. "Come on, baby, I need you to hold your breath and close your eyes." Said Callith. In a way, she lasted the longest until she fainted.
Callith gently lays her down on the floor, checks her heartbeat beat only to find out that her body was already heated up inside. "No, we can get through this, c'mon, wake up, please! Please open the move!" Cried Callith.
"It's too late, it's only us three left. I expected you both to survive the two hundred-degree heat, but who am I kidding? Leon can barely stay on his feet. Said Cameron. "Look at you, weak to the light, and stronger in the dark. That's why I made this place to my advantage."
"No... you're wrong. I-I can still fight you. A little heat, no big deal to me." I said. I stood back up with all the strength I had left.
The look on Callith's face shifted to rage. He set down Haze's body, and both of us stood together in a defensive stance. He pulls out his scychtes, both of us use charging at the hard shell. We could only scratch it.
"I will agenve you, Haze, I promise." Whispered Callith.
Cameron fires flash bangs at me. "Fuck!" With deadly precision, he swung at me with the Ichor blades. My armor began withering away from my lack of strength. Then I fainted. The darkness came back to me. "You don't need the dark, Leon; you are the darkness. Just unleash your inner demons, and together, both of us can take anything out." Spoke from my soul.
"I can't get up, it's too much for me, I don't want to be divine anymore. Please just send my power back into the abyss." I said.
"Leon! Have you not figured it out yet? This power was never given to you; you always had me. Your soul has been with you forever; you just found me deep inside... the Omniverse needs you to be their savior, for them, you can make a change. Just believe in yourself.
I open my eyes. I keep my guard up. "Leon, wake up, stay with me! You can do it. I know you can do this." Said Callith.
My eyes darkened, my bones broke, and my skin ripped open, turning a dark jet black. What a transformation. I grew ten feet tall with two sets of black, shadowy-looking wings. My leg changes its shape, and my hands end in clawed fingers. My head shape has almost become dragon-like, and behind me sprouted three very long tails laced with metallic, sharp ends.
"What hell hell!?" Said Cameron.
