Selina rested her back on the cold wall still tainted by his dangerous aura from earlier. It coiled her like a burning cloak.
Her body still trembled with the echo of his raised belt and voice, a fear she hadn't known she could feel from him.
Struggling to bury those pains as usual, she stood up and pulled the door.
When she came out, Selina heard his menacing voice resonating in the room.
"Seems you'll be afraid of me from today,"
Her eyes drifted in his direction and saw him sitting on the bed, unbuttoning his cuff.
He stayed calm as if he had been waiting for her. Maybe to witness the misery he was feeding her, bit by bit.
"Though, you should consider whose fault it is that I became the monster I am yet to unleash," he murmured, lifting his expressionless gaze at her. "Your father did. And you chose to burn in the flames with me. A promise once made can never be broken. So, don't resent me."
