Strange isn't it?
I kept asking myself since the very beginning as to how I had ended up in this situation.
To understand, I'll have to explain from the very beginning of my life which can be explained in a single sentence.
All my life I was diagnosed with a incurable disease that eats away every part of my body until I reached 18.
It was an age where my body can no longer resist against the temptations of the illness.
It was too painful to the point sometimes I believe even death itself is the cure.
I didn't know what it's like to enjoy the outside world and seeing my family come visiting me only to cry makes me hate mselfy more than ever.
"When will it end?"
It was a question I kept asking and perhaps God must have heard my plea that he granted my wish.
But it felt like a joke where he granted my wish only when death is near.
How cruel is that?
But precisely because of that I wonder if god was giving me another chance?

I had questions on my mind when suddenly, a holographic panel appeared before me.
But something is strange.
I had already died and I can't even feel my body and to add on, there's only darkness around me.

There were many questions on my mind but the fact that I could reincarnated into another world catches my attention.
What kind of world would I be reincarnated into?

I see, then I appreciate it much if I could in another world to fulfill what I always wanted to do
I wouldn't want to let go of this chance since the opportunity is right in front of me.

Without wasting any more time, a screen appeared before me and just like what this strange entity sound has said, there were millions of options.
Judging by what information I know, the most important factor should be skills.
But let's go through these skills to gather more information.
I don't know how much time I had spent but I had finally made my choice.
The 5 categories were Bloodline, Trait, Physique, Class and finally, Innate.
Although I already had an idea what I want I still can't believe how powerful each of the options are.
They were simply overpowered by just having a single one of them, and these are the 5 options I have chose after considering their effects and gains.

- A kind of Innate where it was once sealed and forbidden to spoke of as whoever possessed it will be a threat to a all life :]

[: Then next would be an item, and you can only choose one from it :]

It's not like I'm complaining or anything, but those options that I have chose are insanely powerful, and now, I'm given a choice of an item?
[: To explain a bit of more detail, each being in the world where Host will be reincarnated were born with 'Soul Weapon', and that Soul Weapon represents their existence itself :]

Just like the options before, there were millions of list and I couldn't even decide which one I wanted.
Since I could only choose one I have to be very careful of the considerations.
Since I don't have much information about the world I will be reincarnated into, I wasn't sure which one would I need.
Maybe I should choose something that can help me if I ever wish to aquire more strength.

I was just kinda surprised that despite all of the gifts I had, there were much more.
What could be even more powerful than the ones I chose?
I can't even imagine that.

I didn't know what had happened after the system has said its last words, but I'm sure I was pulled away by an unknown light force.
But by the time I had opened my eyes, I found myself in a difficult strange.
Supposedly, I was expecting myself to be given birth by my mother, but why on Earth am I being carried away...?
"Faster! Chased that maid! She's holding the son of that vile Empress!"
Maid? So the one who's carrying me is a maid?
Without a doubt as I'm staring at her, she's indeed a maid but her expression tells me that we aren't in a good situation.
Moreover, I heard the chasers saying that I'm son of the Empress?
What the hell is going on!?
I never thought that so many emotions is brewing inside me, emotions that I thought it had longed died out.
Is this due to the fact that I had been reincarnated?
"Young Master don't worry! I'll protect you at any cost!" The maid declared as she was breathing in and out.
But at the same time, I was amazed by her abilities.
Since she was carrying me within her arms, she could still kill the pursuers.
"Shit! Even that maid is powerful!"
"It took all of our efforts and manpower to cross through the guards, and now, even those maids is hard enough for us to handle!", One of them declared.
"The 'Orders' are keeping the Empress busy, and now is the only time and chance for us to kill that baby!" One of them declared.
As time passes by, more pursuers are coming and their numbers are decreasing.
Yet, there was only me and the maid.
"At this rate, it'll be hard for me to protect young Master, what should I do...?"
Even now I could see that the maid was starting to panic.
But at some point, the maid came across a river and the attackers had finally caught up to us.
"Where do you think you're going little maid?"
"Since you're on a dead end, why don't you just give the baby to us and we'll let you live?"
They offered the maid a chance.
"Over my dead body! Do you think I would gladly surrender and betray the Empress!? You're just a fool if you believe that!" The maid said.
I was impressed with her but despite her words, it seems like the situation was pressuring her.
[: 3rd POV :]
Maiya, the maid, was sweating as she was considering her next actions.
The reason why she stopped by the river was not a coincidence.
She knew that the number of pursuers were increasing and even if she was powerful, she couldn't kill that many at once.
Moreover, she knew that if she followed the flow of the river, it will lead her to a city nearby.
A city that was a vassal to the Kingdom that her Empress ruled over.
If she creates a shield for 'Daniel' to lie on and flow through the river, it creates enough time for her to kill her chasers.
"I'm sorry young Master, but please wait a while for me alright?" She looked at him dearly and without a doubt, there was a necklace that signify the Bloodline that he has.
It was also to signify a status that he was born with.
Whoever sees the necklace would bow their knees down.
"Wait a minute, what is she doing! Someone stopped her!" Sensing that the maid was about to do something, they tried to stopped her, but it was all useless.
"All of you stay where you are" The maid had activated her powers and had stopped their movements.
To be precise, she had stopped time.
But it wasn't an all powerful ability as it comes in a risk.
She could only stopped for 5 seconds, and any more than that would cause her eyes to bleed.
"Young Master please wait for me..." The maid as she created a gentle barrier around him and she released him on the river.
"It won't be long"
She declared...but who would have known the events happened later and Maiya would deeply regretted it forever.
'So in the end, she has decided to release me to the river...' Daniel could only spectate the situation, but he hoped that the maid would pick him up.
After all, he didn't wish to be separated from the 'Empress'
After all, he still wish to grow up with his blood related parents.
As minutes passed by, Daniel wondered how long this would end and half an hour passed by, he was suddenly picked up.
