Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: The First Birthday

29th February 2004 — a rare day, only appearing once every four years, yet this one carried immense significance. It marked the first official birthday of Vijay j, the heir to the powerful and wealthy Raj family. Though technically four years old, he was now celebrating his first true birthday — and the occasion was nothing short of extraordinary.

The jay mansion shimmered with quiet grandeur. The central hall was dressed in gold and white, soft lights dancing off the chandeliers, and delicate arrangements of white roses lining the staircase. Music floated gently in the background, while the elite of India's business and political world gathered, their eyes often darting toward the small boy at the center of attention.

Vijay j, with his calm presence and curious blue eyes, sat upright in his little royal-blue suit, greeting guests with graceful nods that often left adults stunned. At just "one" year old by calendar terms, he was already showing the bearing of someone far older — and far wiser.

His father, Shivraj jay j, stood beside him, his usual stoicism softened by pride. His mother, Rushein, stood on the other side, radiant in a sapphire silk saree, her eyes never leaving her son's face. For them, this birthday was not only a celebration but an announcement — the true emergence of the jay's heir.

As the event moved into the gift ceremony, murmurs swelled among the guests, curious about what the most powerful parents in India would give their already extraordinary child.

Shivraj stepped forward first. From within a discreet black case, he lifted out a sleek, American Centurion Black Gold Card — the ultimate symbol of wealth, prestige, and global access.

"This," he said, placing the card gently into Vijay's small hand, "is not a toy, but a key. One day, it will open doors you didn't know existed. Use it with responsibility, not desire."

The guests gasped quietly. The card, accepted by only the ultra-elite, represented boundless spending power and unmatched privileges across the world. For a child to receive it on his first birthday was unprecedented — but then again, so was Vijay.

Next came Rushein. Her heels tapped softly as she approached, holding a crimson velvet envelope. Her voice trembled slightly, but her eyes were clear.

"Vijay," she said, kneeling in front of him, "I give you 10% equity in jay Entertainment Company. It's yours — not for wealth, but for vision. One day, you'll shape stories that reach the hearts of millions. This is your canvas."

She kissed his forehead, placing the envelope in his lap. Vijay held it with care, not fully comprehending the weight in monetary terms, but fully aware of the meaning. This was trust. This was legacy.

A Week Later – The Aspiration

A week after the opulent celebration, the mansion had returned to its usual calm. The flowers had wilted, the guests had long gone, and only the jay family remained, back to their rhythm of structured brilliance.

One evening, while Shivraj read reports in the study, Vijay entered silently and climbed into the armchair across from his father.

"Father," he said softly.

Shivraj looked up from the paper.

"I want to continue my education. I want to study at MIT — the Massachusetts Institute of Technology."

Shivraj blinked once, then leaned back in his chair. "MIT?" he repeated. "You want to go to America? Already?"

Vijay nodded. "I've completed what most students learn until the twelfth grade. I want to understand more — quantum mechanics, artificial intelligence, biotech. India is growing, but MIT is where the frontier of knowledge is being pushed."

Shivraj was silent. It was true — Vijay had consumed everything that could be taught at home. No tutor had managed to surprise him for months. He had mastered multiple disciplines before most children learned multiplication tables.

"Why the rush?" Shivraj finally asked. "You're still… so young."

"Because I can," Vijay replied. "Because the earlier I start, the longer I'll have to explore. And because I am not ordinary. This isn't about grades — it's about the future. And I want to be ready before it comes knocking."

A faint smile crept across Shivraj's face — rare, but full of pride. "Very well," he said. "We'll make preparations. But remember, no matter how fast you run, direction matters more than speed."

"I understand," Vijay said, bowing his head.

Looking Ahead

That night, Vijay stood by the window in his room, gazing at the stars.

He thought about the card — the Centurion — tucked safely in his drawer. About the 10% equity in jay Entertainment. About the way his mother smiled when he walked, the way his father studied him like a man he could someday rely on.

But most of all, he thought about the future. About MIT. About science, business, and the knowledge waiting just beyond reach.

Vijay knew he had advantages no one else could even dream of. But he also had purpose — and that, more than any stat or system, was what would shape his path.

As he closed his eyes, a voice echoed in his mind:

"You were reborn not to relive — but to rewrite."

And he intended to do just that.
