He had given up fighting the enemies with his arrows.
Instead, he pulled out a pair of daggers and began rushing through the enemies.
Slash! Slash! Slash!
He did not try to confront all of the opponents.
The man just killed enough to make a path for him to escape.
Though, because of the overwhelming numbers, he did not flee unscathed.

The man finally broke free from the cordon and sprinted off the scene.

The man began to mutter to himself as he was catching his breath.

The man continued with annoyed and regretting expression.

The Tsahanam man was safe for the moment.
But he knew he could only go back to the lobby after defeating all the enemies.

How was he able to take all of them out?
The Tsahanam man then heard footsteps echoing toward his direction.
He kept himself hidden in his dark corner and anticipated the approaching enemies.
One pikeman and two broadswordsmen came to pass.
The Tsahanam man was lucky they did not have a war hound with them. Otherwise it would had smelled his blood.
Seeing the enemies, however, made the scout step out from his hiding spot.
After his self-ranting earlier, fear vanished from his eyes, calm and focus took its place.
['Ahsan (★★)' is no longer in a state of fear.]
The man then swiftly and silently dashed to the enemy patrol.
['Ahsan (★★)' has obtained the skill, 'Stealthy Movement'!]
He decapitated the two broadswordsmen at the rear.
The pikeman then raised his weapon upon the ambush.
But the Tsahanam man launched his dagger to the pirate's neck.
['Ahsan (★★)'s Dagger Throwing has levelled up to level 2!]
Eighteen enemies remaining.
Another patrol appeared from the turn ahead.
A broadswordsman and a war hound.
The final scout then reached for his bow again and sent two arrows flying to his enemies.

The arrows landed right into their skulls.
The enemies died before they noticed the forged land hero.

Sixteen enemies remaining.
The Tsahanam man knew the other enemies would discover his position if he stayed there.
So he moved on while concealed in his stealth skill.
The man would traverse the labyrinth paths, avoided large patrols, and sneaked up on smaller ones to eliminate them.
He managed to reduce the enemies to eight by doing this stunt.
Eventually the enemies realized what the final scout was doing and decided to group together back at the central square.
Three war hounds, two broadswordsmen, two pikemen, and one pirate captain.
Meanhwile, the Tsahanam man only had two arrows, a short bow, two daggers, one short spear, one sword, and one shield on him.
He tried to reclaim his lost arrows throughout the town, but the ones he found had already been broken to pieces. All done by the pirates that had been hunting him.
The scout then repeatedly surveyed the central square.
He was contemplating the best course of attack which would not get himself killed.
Eventually he found one. Or I would not be watching this record now.
The man began his assault by taking down two broadswordsmen with his last two arrows.
Noticing his presence, the pirates sent the war hounds at him.
The Tsahanam man pulled his short spear and threw it at the beasts.
He managed to spear two canines at once.

The third hound reached the scout.
He welcomed the creature by lodging a dagger into its skull.
The two pikemen then charged at the Tsahanam man.
He quickly equipped his shield and parried their combined assaults.
The scout drew his sword and slashed through one of the pikemen's oblique.
He bashed his shield against the wounded pikeman and proceeded to thrust his sword into the enemy's throat.

The other pikeman tried to strike him from the back, but the scout somersaulted to dodge the attack.
He quickly decapitated the pikeman when the pirate was still shocked by the stunt.

As the last one standing, the pirate captain charged at the Tsahanam man.
Slash! Thrust! Slash!
The pirate barraged the scout with his unconventional sword technique.
The Tsahanam man could barely keep up with the movement.
His swordsmanship's skill was only level 3, after all.

The pirate captain stripped the scout from his shield.
Swoosh! Clang!
The captain made an arc with his sword and disarmed the scout completely.
Instead of running away, the Tsahanam man rushed closer to the pirate captain.
Stab!
The pirate's sword punctured through the scout's oblique.
The Tsahanam man traded the wound by smacking his bow at the captain's head, snapping its tip broken.
The pirate stumbled backward.
Fighting the pain of his own wound, the scout used the brief opportunity to lodge his last dagger to the enemy's throat.

The Tsahanam man quickly pulled away.
With blood pouring out from the side of his stomach, the final scout clutched his broken bow tightly and watched the last enemy collapsed into his own pool of blood.

The familiar bluish white light soon engulfed the Tsahanam man.
The environment of the nineteenth floor rapidly receded into the three shining mirrors and vanished, returning the usual glow and writings carved on them.

When I woke up this morning, I expected we would be climbing to the eighteenth floor and started our preparation for the nineteenth.
It turned out we managed to clear both the eighteenth and the nineteenth on the same day.
Even though we still needed to frequent those two floors to level up, our next objective was already set.
The twentieth floor.
It was time for us to prepare for the fourth Quintal Trial.
