There was sounds of glass clinking on the table as a human calls Zera was reading from a clipboard while having cranberry juice. She had a serious look on her face as she adjusted her transparent glasses and looked towards the others. She was an investigator who was looking at the clues of rumours that had been spreading around. There had been whispers of people being murdered and Zera was going to find out what has exactly people have been talking about. She noticed two people coming inside of the restaurant as she turned her gaze around with a curious expression on her face. They were adults that looked to be about their mid twenties and wore causal clothing although one of them looked more vintage-like style and the other wore a more rock like style clothing. They both sat down as they ordered food.
One of them had a meat steak that had lemon on it and the other had fish and chips. Soon the first one spoke up "Yeah, have ya heard about those talks around?" The rock styled person said as the vintage person shook their head. "I've really haven't been keeping up with the media as of late considering I've having to get heaps of money to make a living. So what is it?" They asked before the other one replied to them "I've heard that someone got killed cheap in the sub." Suddenly it became tense as they both stared at each other before the one with green eyes soon tried to figure out what that they just heard. The one with grey eyes (the one who wears vintage clothes) soon spoke up "Wait a minute, someone got robbed and killed on the subway are you saying?" As the person with blue eyes (the rock styled person) nodded at them.
Zera looked hearing from them as her hazel eyes narrowed as she turned back to her clipboard. There was notes about gossips and newspapers about any sort of conversation about those murders. She decided to get up and ask them as she walked towards them as they turned to her. Zera replied with a formal tone of voice "I am Zera Anlison, someone who investigates murders specifically. I heard that you two heard about another murder, what's your names?" Both of them replied with different tones as the vintage styled person said "I'm Max Liyin." As the other one asked with a aggressive look "I'm Jonah Tollin. You want something from us?" Zera stood calm with a raised eyebrow as she soon nodded and grabbed a pen from her pocket and clicked on the top of it as she sat down with them.
"So I heard that you were talking about a murder found in a subway?" Zera asked her first question as Jonah sighed before saying "Yeah, heard from a friend of a friend that a body was found clean." Zera perked up before her eyes glanced from Max to Jonah as her pen stroked the paper before asking this second question "You heard this from a friend of a friend? May I ask who they are?" Jonah look turned strangely a bit serious before saying "Someone who lives quite far off, I heard that they came to the town today and went to the subway, but turns out that they found a body instead. I met up with them on the pave and chatted this with them." Zera nodded before turning to Max now, Jonah was still looking angry for being interrupted from their conversation. "So, did you hear anything about anything else strange, Max?"
"Well I heard that two people had been robbing people but once they went into the forest, they have gone missing." Max tried to rack his brain for any events that have been occurring this month as Jonah turned to him with his anger decreasing slightly and was now fascinated by what he heard as he questioned him "So you also heard gossip?" As Max nodded and talked back "Well from those old newspapers. I had a feeling that it's the truth this time." Zera looked down at her notes before deciding to ask "Well is that all that you heard today or last week?" As both of them nodded at her. She got up before looking back and stated "I will leave you two alone. I'll see what I can take from this." They watched her go back to her table as Jonah soon said to Max "That girl was pretty annoying. Getting in our personal buzz?" Before Max said "Well she was a detective after all."
Zera sat down as she looked at the waiter who was her friend as he was busy making food and drinks. He gave Zera Spaghetti Bolognese as she smelt the warm meat and liquid tomato sauce. She looked upwards before deciding to ask him "Well Axel, what did you say about the recent food ratings?" as he looked up before saying with a jovial tone of voice "Well, it's a four from the ratings. Ever since this restaurant has opened up a few months ago, I'll say that it has improved since then. Although we still have to deal with a couple of contaminated foods that were with diseases from flies." Zera nodded as Axel soon asked her "So did you get your paycheck?" Zera sighed not wanting to be asked about that before saying "I should get it next week, although it has decreased by 3%. Not as bad as last time though." Axel nodded before putting clean cups in his plate before deciding to give them to people who just sat down and waiting for their orders. Axel went to them before putting down water, milkshakes, mocktails and non-alcohol drinks as Zera drank from her juice watching carefully.
