Grapple meanwhile was building another invention which should should absorb the heat from the sun as it was an extremely hot and humid around 33 degrees today. Grapple wiped his face before going outside as he carried it before he saw Wheeljack outside currently trying to dull down what looked to be an explosive device as he tested it to go off as it exploded the ground as Grapple shook his head in some amusement as he began screwing the invention down with a small screwdriver. Wheeljack turned around seeing him as he soon said "You don't usually go outside, Grapple." Grapple soon said back "I'm just testing out my machine, y'know? I just hope Optimus finally notices."
Wheeljack just shrugged before testing another one in a hole as it blew up exploding the grass around as it cleared a whole infestation of cyber-bugs where they started to crawl out. Immediately both Grapple and Wheeljack turned in surprise seeing those sort of bugs, weren't they supposed to be on Cybertron? They both looked at each other before Grapple took out a shovel from his subspace and began removing layers of grass and dirt as more cyber-bugs began scattering away as they crawled through all directions as hey soon flipped over a large piece of dirt, revealing a small hill in the dirt where dozens came out.
"Oh we got a infestation of those things again. Don't they usually survive in the heat?" Wheeljack stated before walking away to grab something out of his lab as Grapple unburied the hill, seeing tens and tens of those bugs crawl around something. Grapple used his shovel to throw away a large amount of bugs into the distance as he saw something inside with a couple of bugs still crawling around it. It was a shiny yet dull sort of metal as he picked up the scarp and wiped a few of the bugs away. It came as a surprise to see that it was a Cybertronian hand of all things. A lot of the energon dried from it as a couple of energon drops fell from it. Grapple immediately dropped it as his face fell at the implications that someone has been murdered. He immediately dropped it and said to himself "What... Why is this happening?" Wheeljack soon came out as he saw the hand as he shook his head, trying to understand the reason behind this.
Wheeljack soon began spraying the bugs as the chemical killed them off due to being corrosive and toxic through the air. Wheeljack killed a fair amount as he began looking over the hand which had been bitten from the outside and was going into the inside. A couple of things remained inside such as wires and small metal bolts but overall a lot of the internals looked to have been gone. There was a moment of long silence before Grapple spoke up "Should we tell them?" As Wheeljack nodded before they went inside of the entrance of the Ark as they saw Optimus scolding Huffer as both of them turned. Huffer decided to leave as he snuck away as Optimus questioned them.
Wheeljack replied "We found this." He put the empty hand on the table as Optimus optics narrowed for a moment as he thought on what to do with this. He soon said with seriousness in his voice "Have you seen any sign of this dead cybertronian?" They both shook their heads as Optimus said firmly "I believe that we must keep an eye on things. We will also increase our security measures. We do not want to loose anymore of our teammates." Optimus took the hand and went to Ratchet to see who this belonged to as there was another moment of tense silence. Both of them left as mutters of confusion was heard from the Autobots nearby.
There was the sound of something as Ultra Mangus left the area. The Autobots turned seeing his face having this determined expression as he left and his optics looking like they were searching for something. He hand was near the area where his gun was at and it was noticed that he cautiously listened to the noises. He soon exited the area as Grapple wondered what that was about.
