There was rumours spreading around the ships a day or so later on as the Decepitcons discussed about the unusual sights of their energon crystals being more gone as of late. The Constructicons were the ones to start these rumours before they ended up spreading like wildfire throughout the Nemesis. Shockwave took interest in the rumours and went to go find what has been the cause of them going missing. But right now he was busy holding a pen as he was currently drawing a complex device to find traces of lost materials. His optic was furrowed with interest as he gently out each pen stroke on the paper as he began labelling the mechanisms of the device.
Tensions had also had been seen rising between Thrust and the Constructicons as they had been at least disagreeing once or twice a day. Whenever one said that they should do solo- missions, the other would say that they should go on a team mission and if one said that they should get more energon crystals, the other would butt in saying that they need to get metallic materials for the Nemesis. It was common to hear yelling from either one of them as the Decepitcons would expect this occurrence to happen when their guard was at their most low as they would hear yelling from at least one of the sides.
Molotov was in the Hook's medbay with a frustrated look on his face, remembering how Prowl had scarred him and basically made him unable to move as much as he should have. Hook had told him to rest but Molotov insisted so, making Hook getting a little forceful and having to use a injection to calm him down a little. Molotov tapped his foot impatiently as Hook came inside saying "Well, you should be fine in a week or so." As Hook tapped on some buttons and pressed on the page for Molotov's injuries as he examined the results that the information gave him. Hook soon continued saying "And I hope you don't sneak out this time Molotov to do more missions knowing you."
In the Autobot base, Optimus was in his office as he was examining some of the missions that were written in paper before hearing someone knock at his door before sitting up and asking "Who's there? Come in!" As Blaster came inside with a slightly worried look on his face as he crossed his arms with worry, as he shifted himself nervously as his usual demeanour was off a little bit before Optimus asked wondering what is wrong "Blaster, has something happened may I ask?" Blaster swallowed his words for a moment before spitting them out and said "We have a issue Optimus."
Suddenly the Alarms blared as the sound of the Teletraan I computer was heard saying "DECEPITCON ATTACK IS DETECTED" throughout the Ark before both of them got up in a urgent manner. Optimus got up and Blaster turned around in surprise before saying "Wait, what's going on? This I didn't expect!" Before Optimus opened the doors and said "We better check it out quickly." They quickly ran off through the hallways and into the main area where they heard the sounds of Objects being hit and yelling going through the air as they both entered in quite a surprise of what they saw.
Autobots and Decepitcons were fighting again but it was more intense than usual. Blasts were seen going at light speed and Optimus and Blaster came in fighting back as the loud ringing of each trigger can be heard in their audio receptors. Prowl who was fighting got shot in the arm and fell backwards as his arm was even more injured then before, Ratchet immediately noticed Prowl on the floor and quickly came over to him "Prowl! Stay down, I'll heal you." Prowl tried to protest by getting up and replying "I'm fine myself, Ratchet." Before Ratchet held him down to heal his wounds.
Several of the Autobots got shot and killed instantly as energon leaked on the floor and metallic smoke came out of them. Optimus yelled "Stay behind cover! Keep your focuses!" As the Autobots went behind cover and a few more got killed while running to them. Ironhide said to Optimus "We are losing more than we usually do, Prime!" Optimus turned as he could smell smoke and heat as there was scorch marks on the floor of the main area and the sounds of wires and parts of the walls fell off.
"Then we fight back!" Optimus began shooting along with some of the Autobots as some of the Decepitcons was shot as their chests were blown open and parts of their spark had been destroyed. They fell into the ground dead into the shadows as the Decepitcons also began running behind cover. The Autobots soon looked up seeing Seeker jets glide downwards as they soon dodged the missiles being launched towards them as the missiles hit the ground and caused quite a loud explosions. The seekers transformed into their jet modes as it revealed that it was Jetblast, Ramjet and Firestorm. Firestorm began shooting with crazed intent as the Arielbots shot back at the seekers.
Soon after a long time of fighting, both Decepitcons and Autobots had lost quite a number of soilders/warriors before a familiar calm and monotonic voice spoke up from the shadows "Retreat, it's not logical to send out more Decepitcons seeing how many has permanently went offline. This was a bigger risk than what the results shown." Shockwave said as the Decepitcons listened to his command and transformed out of there into their vehicle mode and left as Shockwave transformed and quickly left.
Some of the Autobots were a bit in shock considering how many warrior died out as the noise and commuciation completely stopped and they looked at the burnt, bloody and dull state of the aftermath. Ratchet meanwhile was checking out every single Autobot on which ones were alive and began taking the ones unconscious, in shock or badly injuried into the medbay. Soon some of them began murmuring as they looked at the horribly black-marked floors, the walls had wires and bits of metal falling out and bodies were across the floor staining it with death.
Ratchet began using the old and new medical bays since there wasn't much spaces to place all of the patients. First Aid, Red Alert, Hoist and Ratchet all began working tiredly on healing with their injuries as Grapple one of the survivors spoke up "So... What now?" As Optimus soon began having a speech again after the battle "I'll tell you that these are no easy loses to deal with. We must be prepared and show gratitude towards those who lost their lives today." The Autobots watched as the dead ones were taken by Ironhide and Searchlight to be put to rest.
After a while, even if they returned to normal activities there was kind of this drop in mood after the battle as Jazz tried his best to comfort some of them. Well, it worked a little as the Autobots began rebuilding the Ark again as there was this sense of something malicious in the air...
