Chapter 70 - Questions and why and info

Now, guys, I've been reading your comments, and I see a lot of questions coming up. Let me clear a few things.

First question: How was Orochimaru able to obtain Naruto's Ki?

The answer is simple. Orochimaru is a scientist obsessed with DNA and forbidden experiments. He has already worked on Hashirama's cells and even mastered soul manipulation—remember, he can transfer his soul into another body. That's the kind of genius he is.(There is a theory that danzo sharingan on his hands were created by him too but they can't evolve to Mangekyou)

Second question: How was Orochimaru able to harness Ki and use it as though he had all of Naruto's power?

Answer: he does not have all of Naruto's power. What Orochimaru has gained only makes him feel like he's invincible. But the truth is, the gap between Naruto and Orochimaru is enormous. Right now, after Naruto, Orochimaru could be considered one of the strongest—maybe the third most powerful in the Narutoverse—but he's nowhere near Naruto's level.

Remember, when someone suddenly gains new power, they often feel unstoppable. That's Orochimaru's situation. He thinks he can challenge Naruto, but the reality is very different.

About Ki vs Chakra:

You're wondering why Orochimaru can even understand what Ki is. Well, Ki and Chakra do share similarities. Both are formed by combining spiritual and physical energy. The difference is that Chakra depletes faster. Orochimaru doesn't truly understand Ki; he mistakes it for another type of Kekkei Genkai. Just like we've seen Sound-based abilities in Boruto, or Crystal Release, Iron Release, and other unique Kekkei Genkai, Orochimaru views Ki in a similar way.

How he obtained Naruto's Ki:

It's like the case of Sora from Naruto, whose father sealed the Nine-Tails' Chakra inside him. Orochimaru managed something similar with Naruto's Ki. But here's the catch—Orochimaru himself doesn't naturally possess Ki. What he got was Naruto's Ki, and because it doesn't belong to him, it started corrupting his own Chakra. That's why we now see what I call "Corrupted Ki."

Basically, Orochimaru is not wielding pure Ki. Instead, his Chakra pool is being tainted by Naruto's Ki, turning into Dark Ki. The Ki itself still responds only to Naruto, but Orochimaru forces it into himself, which twists and corrupts it. That's why it feels unstable and uncontrollable.

So yes, Orochimaru doesn't truly "gain" Ki—he corrupts his Chakra because Naruto's Ki is present inside him.

Finally, about updates: I'll be uploading Four chapters today to make up for the break. I can't just drop 30 chapters for one month break because the arc itself will be finished within 8- 10 chapters. But since I also have to work on my "Naruto with the Power of Darkness" storyline (where I wrote around 30 chapters of now ), I'll focus on that as well.

Stay tuned! And if you have more questions, feel free to ask—I'll respond.
