Lucian pov
I was sitting in the car with my beta Alyx. It will be at least 30 minutes before we get to the Crimson Pack's packhouse.
"We should go faster" my wolf Fenrir said
he ran around my mind, I let out a low growl and Alxy looked at me "Alpha? is everything okay?" she asked, I sighed "Yes just Fenrir went insane for some reason" I said
"Maybe he wants to meet the people there" Alxy said, I huff. I don't think so, Fenrir is not the type that wants to meet with strangers, more importantly not with other packs.
What's gotten into him?
He usually doesn't like when we go to other packs, why now?
"Fenrir, what got into you? Why are you behaving like this?" I ask and he grows at me "There is something at the pack house, and I don't know why but I have some weird feeling about it. Just go faster" he said, and I frowned.
Why can't he just answer in a normal way?
"don't tell me how to answer! You know that i can hear your thoughts!" he says back in an aggressive tone I growl back, before he even could try to continue I cut off our link and I sigh
"Why can't I have a normal wolf, just like you guys?" the others start to laugh "You are not the only one who has an idiot and annoying wolf" Alxy said, I chuckle at her comment "at least I'm not alone" after that we sat in silence, and I could see that Alxy was talking to her wolf Seniel, I let out a quiet laugh.
She quickly looked at me, and glared at me.
"What? Can't I laugh at my friend" she glared at me and I chuckled, she went back to talk to her wolf. I look out of the window, it's a beautiful place. If I would have a Luna then I could come here with her... I could show her this place...
I continued to look out the window
"Hah if you would look for our mate then she would be here with us" Fenrir says and let out a low growl, I raise an eyebrow "so you say it's my fault?" I ask
"Yes it is, she would be here with us and we could hug her! But no, you thought that it would be better if we don't find her!" he growls, I let out an annoyed growl
"I searched for 4 years! I wanted to find her! It's not my fault! You know when werewolves don't find their mates in 3 years after that they won't continue!" I say, he huff
"Maybe! But you could search for more time!.. it's been 5 years! you could search for more time! What if she thinks that we don't want her?! What if she forget about this damn thing and find someone else beside us?!" in his sentence I felt a sharp pain in my heart, then he cut the line off.
What if she really found someone else? What if I meet her and she will reject me. I can't not think of this... What if it's really my fault? I should searched for her more...
After that I lost myself in my thoughts and I just continued to look out of the window
"Alpha!" Alxy's voice pulled me back in reality.
I glanced at her "Yes Alxy?" I asked "You didn't answer when we called you, are you sure there isn't anything wrong?" She asked with a serious tone, I frowned at this "Yes, I just had a fight with Fenrir, that's all" I said, she looked at me and nodded "You mean the same topic as always?" she asked and I nodded as i sigh.
At least Alyx already met with her mate, and they marked each other and live happily. "Yeah he can't talk about anything else, just that one topic" I said "I understand" she said and went back to read some papers
"What are those?" I ask as I pointed at the papers "Papers" I laugh "haha very funny, I mean what are you reading?" she chuckled "I read the things we want to talk about in the meeting"
I sigh "right.. the meeting, I almost forget that" I go back to look out from the window.
Then I see a house, it must be the packhouse. It's really big, but what could I expect from the Crimson Pack? It's a big pack so it's understable why they need that big house. We are a big pack too but we have two houses. If we put the two together it may be as big as theirs.
I hear my wolf whine in my mind, and I feel some weird feeling?
What?
My wolf goes crazy as he tries to get out every second
"What is wrong with you Fenrir?!" I asked
"MATE MATE MATE"
my eyes widened and my heart started to beat faster, it could be?
"GET OUT NOW" he says, as soon as the car stops I get out I search the area with my eyes then it lands on a man, his beautiful black hair shines, and those violet eyes, but he looked down to the floor instanly when our eyes met, I raised an eyebrow at that.
Then a man comes to me "Hello Mr. Howard. I'm William the alpha of this pack, this is my wife Sandra the luna and this is Jason the beta" I nodded and I shaked his hand
"It's a pleasure to meet you William, I'm Lucian" I looked at my mate and our eyes met. Without a warning he grabbed a girl's shoulder next to him.
I let out a low growl at the touch, Alxy looked at me with a raised eyebrow "I will tell you later" I whispered to her.
She nodded and looked back to the others. I watched as my mate put weight on the girl's shoulder, as I heard my mate's groaned voice.
"Go to him! He is probably hurt! Don't just stand here and watch it!" Fenrir howled in my mind.
"Dear are you okay?" I heard the Luna of the Crimson Pack speak, "Yes.. I just have a headache- I think I will go to the bathroom if you excuse me" my mate's soft voice was so relaxing. The girl next to him grabbed his arm, helping him up a little.
"Pull our mate towards us! Don't just watch as the girl touches him" Fenrir growled, but I knew that the girl was just helping him, but still I couldn't help but let out a low growl.
Then my mate ran into the house, my eyes widened.
Did he run away from us..?
He doesn't want us?
"Go after him!" Fenrir said with an irritating tone
"Emily can you please go after him" Alpha William said to the girl, and she followed the orders that his alpha gave her. After the girl left Alpha William looked back at me. "We should go to the meeting room, and the others will come later" he said.
—Few minutes later—
We walked in the pack house as we made our way to the meeting room. When we got there they let us in first in the room. The room was prepared really well. There were papers and pens at every seat. "Please sit down" the Luna said.
We all sat down and began our meeting. "Today we are here to form a cooperation alliance between the two packs" said Alpha William "As we all know by now, there have been more rogues attacks in the past few weeks than in the past few years. They are stronger and they are coming as a pack.
In the past they were like lone wolves but know they are in a pack like 5-8 or 10-14. It's rare if there are more than 14 in one pack. Alyx eyes widened at this "There are many attacks on the borders of our territory" Alyx said with a serious tone "We fighted with 12 rogues yesterday, some of the pack mates were injured.
It's like the rogues changed" I said and the alpha and luna nodded "That's why we would like to form this alliance. At this alliance both pack members could go to the other territory when there is a fight and needs help. I know that both pack is strong" Alpha William said with a serious tone
"But only when there is a fight" I said with a serious tone
" I'm not saying this in a bad way so don't think it that way" I said
"I apologize, my husband didn't said an important thing. I think if there is a fight then one or more pack members can go through the border of our territory. That's when the pack members can freely go through the two pack" the luna said
I nodded at her "That should be good if there is an emergency then someone can ask the other pack for help" I said "That's right" the luna said.
—Few minutes later—
As we continued to talk we heard a knock on the door "Come in"
then the door opened and my mate came in. I looked at him, and he looked back at me. My heart melted as I looked at his eyes.
They were so beautiful, 'I wonder what his wolf looks like' Fenrir said and I chuckled at that comment. My mate stumbled forwards behind him there was the girl, Emily. I growled but luckily nobody heard that "Oops sorry, I didn't mean to push you" Emily said jokingly.
My mate looked at the girl and growled "You-"
"Enough!"
Everyone looked at the person who said it with a commanding voice.
It was Beta John.
"You two sit down and don't make more trouble!" he said.
Emily and my mate quickly sat down.
I chuckled, it was like an angry mother told something bad to her puppies, it was cute.
As I followed them with my eyes I noticed Alyx looked at the girl and didn't pull her gaze away from Emily.
When they sat down Emily looked back at Alyx, I raised an eyebrow, 'is there something wrong with her Alyx?' I asked through our mind link, Alyx looked at me 'No, it's nothing, just the girl is so familiar, like I saw her somewhere...' sighed Alyx, I nodded and I went back looking at my mate.
