One of the employees stood up from his desk.
"Finally done. Kanaya, I'm heading out first," said a man.
"Okay," replied Kanaya.
The man left the office.
Not long after, Kanaya also finished her work and went home.
Once she arrived at her apartment, she flopped onto her bed, grabbed her phone, and opened her favorite RPG game.
Kanaya stared at her favorite character in the game and opened its status screen.

Kanaya turned toward the voice.
"Who's there?"
A beautiful and cute woman dressed like a goddess sat in a chair.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Yue, the goddess who guides souls to the afterlife... or another world," said Yue with a smile.
Kanaya was confused.
"What did you say? Guide souls...? Wait, are you saying I died?"
Yue answered calmly.
"Yes, I understand you must be confused right now. The truth is, you died from overwork. But after some discussion, I've decided to give you an interesting offer."
"What kind of offer?"
"You'll be reincarnated... into the game you've been playing."
"You mean... I'm going to an isekai and will get overpowered powers to defeat the Demon Lord?"
Yue giggled at her question.
"Why are you laughing?"
"That's cute. But you're from Indonesia, not Japan."

Allen stepped outside to see his new world.

A girl greeted him.

Allen looked at her.

"What's wrong, Allen?" Clara asked.
Strangely, only Allen could see the system. Clara didn't seem to notice it at all.
Three more people showed up and greeted Allen and Clara. One of them waved at him.

Kazuya put his arm around Allen.
"Whoa, someone's got a crush, huh?"
"Are you all ready?" Kakamiya asked.
Clara raised her hand.
"I'm ready!"
Jin raised his too.
"Same here!"
Kazuya raised his silently.
Allen suddenly remembered an important in-game event. Depending on the chosen protagonist, the ending changed:
If Male MC: Only Clara survives and becomes the love interest. Allen, Kazuya, Jin, and Kakamiya die.
If Female MC: Only Allen survives. Clara, Jin, and Kakamiya die.
"Wait, give me a moment to pack!" Allen said, running back inside.
As he packed, he grumbled,
"Stupid damn goddess... freakin' trash..."
"I chose the female MC route, but I don't even know who the canon MC is here. And honestly, that goddess lied to me. She didn't send me to a new world—she just shoved my soul into a game NPC. Well... I guess technically that still counts as isekai..."
A system notification appeared.
