Chapter 11 - CHAPTER 10: SUDDEN INTEREST

Those people thought Havila would be desperate and would eventually run back to them. Seems they don't know her well enough. The boy cursed silently, "That Georgia guy is surely very stupid, leaving a diamond for a coal." Keveelsky only heard the word surgeon and ignored the rest. He ordered, " Give me all information about her, especially in the medical field." The boy joked, "How come you're suddenly interested?" Kevelskyy only snorted and took his attention back to the beauty.

They heard the chief's daughter asking a question, " Do you have any specific music you like?" Havila answered, "Not at all, I do not have any favorites, so you can just choose and I will go with the flow." The chief's daughter swayed her hips left and right and talked to the DJ, "Please play for us any urban tone music you have." The music started, and both ladies danced to the tune. From her moves, everybody could see that Havila was winning. The men's hearts dropped because they knew they had no chance anymore.

The chief's daughter danced sultrily, and the men couldn't help but lick their parched lips, coveting her body. When it came to style and fluidity, she could not reach Havila's professionalism. She looked at Havila, and she was given a seductive wink. She was so shocked that she missed her steps and sprained her ankle. All the men whistled at that wink, and even the chief's daughter doubted herself if she was gay, as she was still in a daze.

The pain made her scream at the top of her lungs. She pointed her fingers at Havila and accused, " You cheated, you slut, you winked at me and seduced me, and so I missed my step." Havila was fed up with her continuous nagging and asked with anger, "So what if I cheated? What can you do? You cannot win me in a fight. I did not break the law, so you cannot involve Mr security in this matter, to be more precise, he's my person."

The chief's daughter was scared for real now. One of her friends told her that her father might be cheating; she never took it seriously, but now, her antennae were up when she heard Havila's proclamation. So she panicked and blurted, " Don't tell me you are the rumored mistress of my father." Havila just looked at her as if she were an idiot. She neared her and said, "I hate people with little trust, and to think that you don't even trust your father is amazing. I pity him."

The daughter heaved a sigh of relief and decided to concede today, but if she took something valuable from her, she would scheme with her cousin on what to do next. She made her way towards the door, just as she was about to go out, Havila threw a surgeon's knife, and it missed her by just one inch and stuck to the door. The chief's daughter, who almost lost her life, shrieked and asked, " Ila, I have already conceded. What else do you want?"

Havila rolled her eyes at this foolish woman. Did she want people to look down on her? How could she just go as if she forgot about their bet? She reminded her, "Have you forgotten about our bet already? You said I could take one of your treasured belongings." The chief's daughter gulped, thinking that she would demand her 5 million condo. To her surprise, what was asked was unexpected. Even the onlookers who knew about the chief's daughter's fortune thought Havila was stupid.

Havila said lazily as she didn't care one bit for the fortunes, " I want the first edition of the criminal psychology book that is in your possession." Keveelsky narrowed his eyes, knowing fully well that the book was priceless. To his disappointment, the chief's daughter gave it away just like that. He had wanted to buy the book from the old man, but he refused, thinking that his granddaughter would be a criminal psychologist just like him when she grew up, so he gifted her the book on her birthday. Too sad he was murdered before he witnessed his granddaughter's success.

Even the chief's daughter had not read that book before. She only treasured it because it was a gift from her lovely grandpa. She denied immediately, but Havila already knew her weak spot and continued," Or would you rather gift me your condo or even yacht?" She denied that with immediate effect. She decided to compromise and said, "At least give me three more days so that I can part with it ."

Havila nodded because she knew that the girl was an upright person. Her mouth was viscous because she was spoiled by everyone, but she had integrity, so she said, "Rest assured, within six months, I will help your dad uncover the mastermind behind your grandfather's murder as a thank you for giving me this book."Havila was considerate enough because she knew the book was priceless. The chief's daughter was touched by her kindness.

The people were amazed by her enthusiasm and became curious about the book. One person googled and found out that the book was a gift to the chief's daughter's grandfather from a well-known psychologist, it was a limited edition written by the first ever criminal psychologist, and was gifted to the chief's father by a descendant for saving him back then. They were amazed by Havila's thoughts. She got something even more valuable than the condo. The chief's heart was bleeding, but she had to honor her promise lest people see her as a swindler.

She consoled herself by saying that her grandfather would be happy if the book was in the hands of somebody who would make good use of it and help the community. She still had lingering doubts, so she asked, " How did you know that I had the book?" Havila smiled reminiscing her past with the old man, she replied, " that's because grandfather security was my master, i always wanted that book but he had already gifted it to you and couldn't take it back, so he said that i could only have it if you were not a psychologist and could only rely on my own strength to have it."

She smirked and continued, "So in reality, you should be my sister (disciple sister). Who could have thought that you would deliver yourself to me on a silver platter? I had planned to look for you once I'm done with my issues and am stable enough. You being my cousin's friend was a blessing in disguise to me." The bystanders were amazed by her tactics and applauded her for her intelligence. The girl shrieked happily and said, "Oh my God, all this time I thought I was scheming against you when it was the opposite. That stupid cousin of yours told me that you did not know how to dance."
