Chapter 14 - CHAPTER 13: EVEN MORE LOST

Keveelsky requested Havila's number from the butler and went to his room to make the call that might change his single life. The call was received very fast, and he was once again met with narcissism. It said, " This is a beautiful maiden speaking, to whom do I offer this good opportunity to hear my smooth voice?" All those who know Havila personally have already gotten used to her self-introduction and generous listening offer. Keveelsky, on the other side, has never heard of it, so his mouth twitched. He also made a mistake and talked the way he usually talks with his friends, so he just said, "It's me."

Havila was dumbfounded on the other side, so she asked, "Who is (is me)?" Keveelsky smiled and said Keveelsky, to which he got a reply of "I don't know any Keveelsky in my circle." He gritted his teeth and said, "I am Mr Delus's grandson." Havila was even more confused because Grandpa Delus never told her his name, so she asked impatiently, "I'm even more lost." Keveelsky then remembered her weird naming of people and corrected himself, "Grandpa nameless." Havila caught it right away and asked sarcastically, "So you are his handsome first grandson, how may I help you?"

"I am asking for your hand in marriage," is the answer Havila got, and she choked on her juice. She removed the phone from her ears and checked if she was dreaming, finding that she was talking to someone, she choked further and coughed for a total of two minutes. After calming down, she asked, " You are joking, right? You don't even know me, how can you marry me just like that? How sure are you? I want to get married." Keveelsky was patient enough and let her vent, then he answered slowly, " It is a long story, my grandpa is very sick, and the prognosis isn't good. He said that he already proposed to you and you didn't say no."

That is how Grandpa Delus was betrayed. Havila once again had a fit of cough and later said, " That's because he was dying back then. I had to console him, and it wasn't important to me either." Keveelsky used her weakness of love for the old and manipulated her immediately. "Well, this time he is dying for real. His liver is not good, and he has refused any treatment until I marry you. Could we meet somewhere and talk?" Havila answered quickly, "No, thank you, but do send me your address. I will come over immediately and do a check-up on him." Then she hung up

This was the first time in Keveelsky's life that somebody hung up on him. he smiled while shaking his head and muttered, "Well, wifey, we shall meet and exchange our wits." he then went back to his Grandpa's room. Havila, on the other hand, did not dare love and trust again after her recent deceit and betrayal by her loved ones. She was open-minded, though; she would help anyone who deserved her respect, and Grandpa Delus is obviously among the list. Her phone chimed, and she saw the address, so she took her stuff and left.

Upon reaching downstairs, she found Keveelsky leaning on his car already waiting for her. She directly opened the front passenger seat and sat there comfortably. When she noticed Keveelsky looking at her with surprise, she said naturally, " Oh, i have to start practicing my right as your wife." then she dramatically closed her mouth with her hands and exclaimed, "or did you change your mind after seeing me closely, so you don't like what you see?" she then flicked her hair and gave him a cute smile.

He had just started driving, and that woman provoked him with that smile; his heart thumped wildly, and he made an emergency brake. He breathed in and out and asked her, " So you agreed to marry me. That also shows that you also like what you see." Havila covered her red ears using her hair and replied, " That's because I want to appease the handsome grandpa. I don't have anything to lose anyway, and this can keep me busy. I'm bored to death."

Being a great actor has helped her a lot at pretending to have thick skin, fake it till you make it is her motto. Keveelsk, with his sharp eyes, noticed that the girl was embarrassed, so he did not say anything. He resumed driving and they reached their destination quickly. Havila immediately alighted and went directly to the upstairs bedroom as if she knew the direction. Keveelsky, who was behind her, shook his head again and asked, "How do you know my grandfather's bedroom?"

Havila slowed down and answered, "I didn't know, I just moved by instinct. Someone I knew took the upper floor so that he is not affected by the younger generation, so I just guessed, considering your grandpa's character, he wouldn't like disturbances either. With your looks, Grandpa Nameless will leave you a space just in case you have a make-out with your woman in the living room." Keveelsky was dumbfounded and applauded for her spot on evaluation. Amused, he asked her, " By my woman, you mean you?" Then Havila answered arrogantly, "Who knows?"

The two people who were obviously already in love weren't aware that they vibe and banter like a married couple. The bystanders, who were the maids, could see it, and they were very happy for their young master. They had never seen him smile so sincerely before, so they liked their new madam immediately. Arriving at the door, she stood aside and allowed Keveelsky to usher her in.

Havila noticed that the hall of the room resembled that of Grandpa's security, and she became emotional. Keveelsky noticed the changes in her mood and took her hand and comforted her silently, even though he didn't know her source of sorrow. She put her emotions in check upon entering the room and only said softly, "Just as I thought it would look like. It seems all old men like the same things. Everything here resembles Grandpa Security's room."
