Back at the Devis House
Lauran paced slightly, her brow furrowed. She was clearly searching for someone.
Mr. Devis: (noticing her worried expression) "Lauran, is something wrong, dear? Looking for someone?" 😊
Lauran: (hesitant) "No, uncle… I mean, have you seen Megan, sis?" 😕
At that moment, Steve walked past them.
Steve: "Oh, she went out with Amber and Joseph. What's wrong, Lauran?" 😕
Lauran: (snapping, frustrated) "Nothing!" 😠 She stormed away, leaving both men puzzled.
Steve: (to Mr. Devis) "What happened to her?" 😶
Mr. Devis: "Don't you remember what happened before her marriage, Steve? I think she's worried about leaving Megan and Joseph with Amber." 😒
Steve: "Ah… makes sense. Then I should probably leave too, Dad." 😎
Mr. Devis: "Alright, son." 😊
Meanwhile, Mrs. Devis observed silently from a distance, her mind quietly piecing things together. 🤔

Joseph slammed his fist on the table.
Joseph: "Who would dare do something like this?!" 😠
Megan: (furious) "Who has the audacity to enter William House and tear the pages?!" 😠
Amber: (calm, thinking) 🤔
Joseph: "Sis… what should we do?!" 😠
Megan: (looking at Amber, demanding) 😠
Amber: (taking control) "Listen carefully. Do not tell anyone about this—not Steve, not Lauran, no one." 😎
Megan: "Why not?" 😶
Amber: "It looks like there's a spy around Devis House. Someone is watching us." 😐😎
Joseph: 😱
Megan: 🤔
Amber: "Be cautious whenever you go out. A serious problem is brewing, one we don't fully understand yet. Until we know more, stay silent and alert." 😎
Both Megan and Joseph nodded in agreement.
Megan & Joseph: "Understood, sis." 😊
