Sounds of steps running desperately matching the echoing sound of the rain inside the dark forest where only darkness could be seen.
"Find her!"
The voice of a middle age person could be hear, a minute have past and the bustling sound of rain slowly weakened. a light on the distance is being shown soldiers wearing full metal armor holding a torch in their left and a sharp sword in their right hand showing a deadly intent to who ever they are trying to find.
"Haah.. Haah.. " A vision of the girl with black hair and a shining blue eyes hiding on a tree just not far away from the soldiers gasping for air to breath.
The girl peek at the soldiers clad with metal armor. as she peeked one particular soldier stand out wearing no helmet a tall man about 6'1 tall with a visible cut mark on his right eye as it was covered with a black patch hiding the damage eye. as few seconds have pass one soldier screamed at her location.
"I found her!" a soldier notice the girl and franticly started running towards her location.
The girl holding both of her hands seems to be a kid about 2 years old breathing but has no consciousness. the girl started running as the soldiers close in her. 'tsk! why are they soo fast' the girl muttered the soldiers have closen the gap and her running pace wasn't enough.
"Come back here bastard!" screamed by the leader of the soldier who is leading them.
as the soldier closing into the girl just a few meters the girl activate a magic circle.
'Oh goddess of the sea, guide me to the endless darkness.' WATER ATTRIBUTE LV 5 "Water influx"
a large ball of water circle the girl at a fast rate destroying the surrounding trees that the water impact to.
"Shit, everyone she is a water mage watch out its raining her attribute is far more stronger!"
The soldiers tried to dodge and retreat to the circling ball of water that the girl have created. every element in this world reflects on the environment the caster is, for example when it is raining the more the water mage have advantage also this affects the opposite element when it come to a different environment when its raining the fire mage are in the disadvantage position because of the multi presence of water in the environment when its raining. the stronger the rain the more stronger the water mage's become.
The sound of trees being torn apart by the strongly dense water ball that the girl created more attention for the nearby monster/creatures lurking in the middle of the forest. it was a risk that both the girl and the soldiers knew. a high chance of a monster with immense strength could be nearby. it was the worst situation that could happen.
"haahh... haaah.. I need to run fast haaah.." the girls running at normal speed stop and gasp for air while her shoulder touch the tree she is close to collapsing, the water ball that she created has started to vanish as her mana started to gradually empty.
"Find her quick! boss will kill us if we don't bring that bitch back." the soldier leader voice was getting close as she hear the voice she started to run again at the darkness forest. she was incredibly thankful that it is currently raining because locating magic cannot sense the water mage in the middle of the rain. it interfere with their vision magic does give a big advantage when escaping a group of people.
After a few minutes of running from the soldiers the girl find a narrow hole on the ground that is hard to see thankfully the girl have enhance her vision with magic so she can see on the darkness of the forest but even before she could hide a thundering roar of a thunder bird echoed loudly to the vast forest.
"thud! ROAAAAAR!!" As the girl body flinched from the extreme sound the mythical thunder bird release she quickly jump on the narrow hole and hug the kid on both of her arms.
it was scary on the hole the girl could clearly see the mythical class disaster called thunder bird 'GIAZ' that creature is one of the most categorized mythical class creature ever recorded on the world history it has the power to completely annihilate any powerful nation in the past because of how it was so strong the great 8 heroes from another world sealed it, but not everyone knew where it was sealed to protect humanity the kingdoms agreed to classified the location and prohibit anyone even the highest order of every kingdoms are not allowed to meddle with the sealed thunder bird.
Soaring in the sky the thunder bird giaz widen it's 4 massive wings emitting a yellow aura, as it flies summoning lightning all over the forest. the girl looking the unbelievable sight before her eyes wonder off to the soldiers.
"Shit shit everyone take cover!" one of the soldier said as he run towards an open tree but before he could take shelter beneath the tree a lightning hit his body it was soo fast that as soon as the lightning hit him his body disintegrate and turned into ash some other soldier got also hit by the lightning and turned into an ash.
His fellow soldier face turned pale as they witness the death of their fellow soldiers it was an inevitable death place they come, no one ever escape the grasp of a mythical creature.
"How the fuck that creature still alive!" The leader knew what it was, the kingdom teaches the soldier about the mythical creatures in history and it was the same on the drawing list of the kingdom historical creatures. "Mythical thunder bird GIAZ" one of the soldier muttered as her face turned pale devioded of any life. he knew that there are no escaping a mythical creature's wrath.
"Fuck! its that girls fault damn'it!" the leader of the soldier said of angered as he recognize the danger that they entered.
It was straight up death trap for the soldiers, no time to think the thunder bird strikes another thundering roar on the sky every sound gives a shock wave throughout the forest. massive blade like winds strikes down to the trees at immense speed not giving enough time for the soldiers to create a magic shield or dodge the massive attack.
"ROARRRR"
The trees close to the thundering bird collapse to the ground being torn in many pieces by the sharp winds that was able to penetrate even the toughest trees on the forest just beneath the tree in a narrow hole the girl survive the attack from outside and unharmed in the deadly shockwave the thundering bird have created.
The blood of the soldiers that have been crushed by the trees or the body that have been torn apart by the strong wind penetrating even with the metal armor they inevitably died on the hands of one of the most strongest creature found in history there is no honor or glory to each of the soldiers death they are simply nothing but a pathetic beings on the kingdom army.
soon enough as the girl consciousness slowly fade her glowing blue eyes slowly close, her body cannot handle anymore pressure and added to her nearly empty mana the world turn black for the girl hugging the kid in her hands.

In the black emptiness exist a light within, it was radiating to see as the consciousness returned back to reality.
'Celling?' the girl think as she see the unfamiliar celling made out of smooth wood.
The girl wake up on surprise and quickly try to stand as she look around it looks like a small house nothing fancy stuff inside. so it was most likely a normal persons home but she cannot see anyone but the girl remember someone.
"Ahh.. arc where is arc." the girl franticly try to stand but her legs seem to not to move.
the door to the room suddenly open and an old man with long white hair and and a white beared appeared and suddenly spoke.
"young lady if you are referring to the child don't worry about him his condition is okay, and his sleeping just on the next room of this room."
The girl ease a little as the old man spoken about arc.
"Uhm, can i a-" before the girl could even ask what happen, the old man suddenly spoke again.
"You can question me later but let me ask you first."
"ehk.. okay" the girl agreed.
"How did you got here in the forest?" the old man spoke with some kind of intent in it.
"...." the girl did not spoke clearly hesitating, but stepping aside her hesitation the girl spoke.
"Before i say anything, do you plan on killing us both if you find something on my answer to your questions?
"Mhm, did you commit something that make me want to kill you both?
"No." the girl answered
"You have gotten yourself." the old man said as he looked at the girl with no visible emotion.
"..." the girl remain quiet but feel more at ease at the current situation.
"How did you got here on the forest?" the old man said with cold words making the girl more look serious but quickly answer the old mans questions.
"The soldiers from the kingdom of Ron is trying to capture and kill me and my little brother so we escape the capital and head north for the forest, I've heard from the merchant that i was able to talk to that the forest towards north is safe." the girl said as she look down clearly with regret but at the same time happy that they are both alive."
"What did you do? to the point where the kingdom soldier is on the run to capture you two?" the old man spoke nonchalantly. seconds have past and the girl spoke with glowing eyes.
"Me and my little brother were blamed for the crime we didn't commit.. fact it was committed by one of the town noble. when me and my little brother wonder to the slumps we witness the noble massacring some people from the slumps because they refuse to be the noble slaves alot were dead, also my little brother was to become one of their slave without me intervening with the soldier, I quickly run towards the gate and successfully recued my little brother from those evil bastard." as the girl remind of the past her face turn tense from angered then she spoke again.
"Because of them me and the rest of the people born from the slumps suffer greatly being treated as trash, a tool to be use and abuse.." as she said it tears flown to the girls eyes, it was a reality that needed to be accepted, it was also the thing to be change by the royalty but the world is too cruel for them even the one with the crown couldn't even help them continues suffering to all of the people from the slump experiencing for generations to generations to come, its an inevitable fate for them.
"...." the old man looked at the girl and spoke.
"Then how did you escape a group of soldiers? its basically impossible but how? the old man ask with curious eyes.
"Before my mother and father die, they teach me about basic combat and magic in order when one day i needed to protect myself against the evil people that try to hurt me. even though were from the slumps my father and mother where the leader in the slumps they knew about magic and martial arts. they started to teach me when i was 5 about water magic and basic martial arts."
"Can you tell me what is the maximum level of water magic you know to create?" the old man question the girl with more curious look.
"uhm. about LV 5 rapid spell maximum."
"Rapid.. that's impressive at your age, how much long you can maintain its form?" the old man questioned because there are types of magic spells. continues/rapid/Single/dual this determine how much a spell is casted when creating a rapid spell it continuously uses the user mana and continuously making a magic circle that's the rapid style which is one of the most hardest spell casting to ever use.
"About.. 1 to 2minutes but when i am in my normal condition about 10 minutes maximum." the girl said tilting her head while looking at the old man.
the old man amused by the girls reply smiled and ask.
"Well then what's your name young lady?" the old man asked.
"My name.. I'm Reinna and my little brother name is Arc" she said looking at the old man.
the old man smiled and spoke "Then i should introduce myself to eased your suspicion reinna, my name is rakumo its nice meeting people because this house is from the middle of the wilderness." the old man happily said.
"I see, elder rakumo, if you don't have anything to ask, it's my turn to ask questions now." Reinna
Elder rakumo looked at reinna and waited for her to spoke not a seconds have past reinna speaked.
"How did you find us on the narrow hole? and and.. a mythical creature called thunder bird 'GIAZ' is also there!"
the old man looked surprise as he heard what reinna said but quickly regain his composure and speak.
"Thats not impossible, i got woken up by the unusual wave of gushing air towards south. it lead me to your location before i knew it a large part of the forest got destroyed at a large scale."
"for you to go outside the dangerous forest at night just to check out the unusual gust of wind..." reinna exclaimed in suspicions.
Elder rakumo looked dejected as she hear what reinna said.
"Even if i look old to you i am strong and a tri element mage." rakumo said as she raise his left hand and create a Wind spell lv1, Lightning spell lv1 and an Earth spell lv1
Reinna look surprise as she witness a tri mage, Tri-mage is a mage that uses 3 element and one of the rare mages ever existed because of how rare it is to being able to use 3 element at the same time, royal mages are required to have 2 or 3 elements and they deemed to be one of the best mages in the world. the hero Silvianna from the kingdom of retasha is recorded to have 5 elements on her disposal she is the renowned strongest mage in existence it was 600years ago in the hero era. until now no one has ever surpasses Silvianna.
"You looked surpise whhahha, but i cannot blame you." Elder said as she laugh on how reinna's reaction is.
"haah..." Reinna sigh as she comprehend the situation. 'A tri-mage huh....'
Then looking at the elder who is grinning spoke.
"Do you have a place to stay?" elder said questioned
Reinna's eye turned pale as she remember that she doesn't have money to stay into a house.. thinking about her little brother making her more even worry.
"..." Reinna still silent looking straight at the wall smilingly lost in thoughts.
"Haahh.. nevermind that young reinna." The elder interrupts reinna's thoughts and she suddnly flinch.
"Ehh?.." looking at the elder.
"You can start living here i have extra room for you two. in one condition." elder said as reinna look surprise taken back at what the elder said.
'What condition?" reinna said as she understand their situation is hard and add up to that is they are on the middle of nowhere surrounded by trees.
"I will personnally teach you both of you how to use magic, swordsmanship and martial arts. in return you will help me on the house work and you will also help on hunting food on the forest." the elder said as she extent his hand to reinna.
""Hahh.." reinna looked at the elder and sigh as she extend her hand to the elder.
"I accept it for the better of me and my little brother."
The two shaked hands and a new life starts for reinna and arc as they have now a master.
