Chapter 26 - Chapter 86-90

Chapter 86: The Voice from the Depths

We continued walking through the dark room, but this time something was different. There was a faint sound, like whispers. I couldn't pinpoint the source of the sound, but it seemed to be coming from the depths, from somewhere unknown.

Ariel suddenly stopped and said, "The sound has begun. It's coming from the deepest part of this tunnel."

"What is this sound?" asked Eyad.

Ariel looked into the darkness ahead and said, "It's the sound that signifies the beginning of the end. The sound that the ancient ruler started."

Her words were heavy with warning, but there was no turning back. Our adventure had entered a new, more dangerous stage.

We needed answers, we needed to know what was hidden in this dark world. And whatever it was, we decided nothing would stand in our way.

Chapter 87: Revelation of Darkness

We reached a point where the darkness became even deeper and more intense. The air felt charged, as though everything in this place was on the verge of exploding.

Then, suddenly, a faint light emerged from one of the dark corners. We approached cautiously, but there was something strange… something that drained hope.

In the midst of the darkness, we saw a strange face, the face of an ancient ruler, speaking to us in a calm voice, but one filled with power.

"Are you the ones who have come to challenge me?" the voice said. "It has been a long time since I was summoned."

Chapter 88: The Ancient Challenge

The moment the ancient face spoke, we all felt an unusual tension in the air. The glowing eyes of the statue seemed to stare at us as if they were reading our thoughts, as if they knew everything about us.

"Who are you?" Eyad asked in a trembling voice, but he tried to sound brave.

"I am the one who began your story, I am the one who created these shadows," said the voice, sounding as though it came from the very depths of the earth. "It is time for you to pay the price for meddling in our world."

I didn't fully understand what it meant, but the atmosphere was so heavy that none of us dared to reply. This voice came from something unnatural, like we were facing an ancient, mythical being hiding within time and space.

Ariel spoke calmly, but with eyes that were intense. "We are here to finish what you started. We came to confront the shadows, not to retreat before your threats."

"Do you think you can?" the voice replied, its mocking laughter sending chills down our spines. "You are mere echoes. Threads in the fabric of time. Many have come before you, and they all failed."

But in that moment, I felt something strange inside me. It was as though I was recalling something lost in my memory. I felt a power coursing through my body, as if my abilities had suddenly evolved.

"I'm not like them," I said firmly, surprising myself with the certainty of the words. But I felt the truth in them.

I turned to Ariel, and there was an odd expression in her eyes, as though she knew something more than I did.

"If this is the challenge you have set for us, then we are ready," Ariel said calmly but with a determined look.

At that moment, the statue moved suddenly, and a door opened in front of us, as if it were inviting us to step into a deeper place. It was as if the challenge had officially begun.

Chapter 89: Journey into the Depths

We entered through the door, and each step took us deeper into an even more mysterious place. The environment was dark, as if we had forgotten the world we once knew, stepping into a realm unlike any we had ever encountered. The ground was sticky, and the walls were covered in glowing mold that cast cold, eerie colors.

"Are you ready?" Eyad asked me seriously as he turned to face me.

"We have no other choice," I replied, as we continued to walk deeper into this unknown place. Each step intensified our anxiety, but there was no turning back now.

As we moved forward, the ground beneath us began to shake more rapidly, as if something enormous was approaching.

"What's happening?" Eyad asked, looking around us in concern.

"It's coming…" Ariel said quietly, then suddenly stopped in her tracks. "We've started entering the heart of the darkness."

At that moment, a massive, foggy creature appeared before us, floating above the ground. Its eyes glowed with a dark red hue, and its form was indistinct. It breathed deeply, in a terrifying way.

"This is the ancient ruler," Ariel said, as if she had seen this creature before.

"Is this what we've been looking for?" Eyad asked in horror.

"Yes," Ariel answered, "But it's not just a creature. It's the embodiment of the darkness that has spread through this world since ancient times. It's the one who started it all."

We all stared at the ruler, feeling an enormous challenge before us. There was something in our hearts that told us we could not give up now.

"You are the one who started this nightmare," I said, facing the creature with determination in my eyes.

The ruler smiled a twisted smile, as if this was exactly what it had been waiting for.

"Very well," it said in a low voice, "If you're ready, then face your fate."

Then, darkness spread everywhere, as if we had entered another world.

Chapter 90: Darkness and Light

We closed our eyes against the intense darkness that filled the place. But, despite the darkness, there was a faint beam of light beginning to shine before us. It was a small light in this dark world, as though it carried hope.

"Don't be afraid," Ariel said confidently. "This light is our guide. If we hold onto it, we can defeat the darkness."

We gathered around the light, and with every step we took, we moved closer to the ancient ruler, who stood there, watching us coldly.

"Do you think that a simple light can defeat the darkness?" the ruler said, but its voice carried a sense of mockery.

But with every word we spoke, our light grew brighter, and it felt like we were filling this dark place with the power of our will.

"Yes," I said, taking another step forward, my gaze fixed on the ruler, "We need nothing more than our will to fight."

At that moment, magical forces exploded around us. The light shone from within us, battling the darkness, as we drew closer to the end.
