After getting on the train, Rowan held Sienna's hand as they went to find their sleeper cabin.
When they found their cabin, they saw there were already three people inside—an elderly man and two young men. They looked like they were protecting the elderly man.
Rowan took a careful look at them, nodded, and started putting their things away, then made the bed.
"Wife, it's ready. You can rest now."
"I'm not sleepy yet, so you can sit and play for a while."
"Okay."
Sienna sat and stared at the three people across from her, especially at the elderly man.
The elderly man noticed someone was looking at him, so he looked up and smiled at her. The two people guarding him became more alert. If it weren't for Rowan's military uniform and the fact that he called Sienna "wife," they might have asked her to change cabins by now.
The elderly man spoke to the two guards, saying, "Don't worry, you've scared the girl."
He then turned to Sienna and asked, "Young lady, why are you looking at me?"
"Curious."
"Curious about what?"
"Curious why, if you're about to die, you're not in the hospital."
Sienna said it without hesitation, and when Rowan heard this, he quickly covered her mouth, saying, "I'm sorry, sir, my wife's mind isn't all there. Please don't mind her."
Hearing this, the two guards instinctively reached for their waists.

The elderly man wasn't angry. Instead, he asked, "Girl, how did you know?"
"I could tell."
Hearing this, the elderly man said, "I'm not hiding anything. How did you see it?"

Before she could finish her sentence, Rowan quickly covered her mouth again, and whispered in her ear, "Wife, don't speak carelessly. That kind of talk could be dangerous. I can't protect you from that."
Seeing how nervous Rowan was, Sienna stopped and said, "You should go to the hospital."
"Honey, I'm sleepy," she said, then lay down to sleep.
Rowan quickly helped Sienna into bed. "Sleep, I'll stay with you."
Then he turned to the elderly man and apologized again. "Sorry, sir, don't mind her."
The elderly man looked at him and said, "You can call me Grandpa Gong. This is Wang Jiang, and the other one is Zhang Lun."
"Hello, I'm Rowan, and this is my wife, Sienna."
"Are you both heading to the army?"
"Yes."
"Which unit are you in?"
"The Beijing Military District, 1st Regiment, 4th Battalion. We're going to report there."
"Oh, very good. We're also heading to Beijing. We can watch out for each other on the way."

That evening, Rowan woke Sienna up and took her to get something to eat.

Rowan didn't ask any more questions and took her to eat. "Wife, how did you figure out the old man's illness?"
"He was twitching his face uncontrollably, and my instinct told me there's something in his head. I don't know what it is."
"So you guessed it?"
"I suppose. Once I saw him, I knew something was in his head."
"Alright, wife, don't use this ability again. If you find out something, just tell me quietly. We can't say it out loud. There are a lot of bad people outside. Be careful, they might experiment on you."
"Okay, I understand."
After dinner, they returned to the train car. This time, Rowan let Sienna sleep in the middle bunk while he slept on the bottom. The top bunk was empty, so it was pretty safe.
After hearing this arrangement, Sienna said, "You sleep on the top, and I'll sleep on the bottom."
In her mind, Rowan needed more protection. If she slept below, it would be easier for her to act in case of danger.
"Wife, listen to me."
Sienna just stared at him without speaking. Eventually, Rowan gave in and went to sleep on the top. He felt alert, so he'd just keep an eye on things that night.
The three people across from them were curious, thinking that the couple's positions were reversed. During the day, the man protected and cared for the woman, but at night, it seemed like the woman was protecting the man.
Old Master Gong said, "Girl, there are so many people here. You don't need to protect your husband like that. It's not dangerous."
Sienna glanced at the three of them and said, "I'm worried you might be bad people. I need to protect my husband."
