Nearly seven or eight hours had passed, and the officials in the Tokyo area had barely left the conference room.
It was as if they had a silent agreement—no one was going anywhere until Tenryū Kamishiki made a move. To them, this room felt like the safest place left.
Their nuclear option had failed. After the missile was launched toward the Heavenly Judge, it suddenly veered off course mid-flight… and landed right back in their own silo. Just like that, the plan collapsed completely.
Now, they weren't even thinking about their families anymore. All they cared about was huddling together with their colleagues, clinging to the desperate hope that staying put would save them.
What they didn't realize was that danger was already closing in.
Outside the government building, a heavy security detail stood guard.
And then… a lone figure emerged, walking slowly but steadily toward the complex.
The soldiers stationed at the perimeter spotted the slender silhouette in the distance. For a second, they froze—then immediately snapped into defensive positions.
Rifles rose, all aimed at the approaching stranger.
"Stop right there! State your business!" a soldier yelled, tension sharp in his voice.
But the figure didn't respond. Didn't even slow down. Just kept walking toward them.
"Dammit! Open fire!" the commander barked. "We have orders—this area must be secured at all costs!"
Even the hesitant soldiers obeyed. Triggers were pulled.
Rat-a-tat-tat!
Fifteen rifles roared to life at once, muzzle flashes tearing through the scene. Spent shell casings clattered to the ground like metallic rain.
Yet the figure didn't flinch, didn't dodge. Through the storm of bullets, it just kept moving forward.
He moved with an eerie grace, like someone on a casual stroll through the rain—both mesmerizing and utterly terrifying.
"What the hell? Why won't he go down?!"
The soldiers began to panic.
"Is it a Gastrea?!"
"Impossible! This is the heart of Tokyo! Those monsters could never get this far!"
"Bring out the heavy stuff! Grenades, now!"
On command, they switched from rifles to grenades. A dozen explosions rocked the area, one after another. But when the smoke cleared, the figure was still advancing, untouched.
It wasn't until he was upon them that they finally saw him clearly.
"What... what is that? A robot?!"
Standing before them was a humanoid machine, its entire body—including the head—encased in sleek, full-body metal armor.
But this was no robot. Inside was Tendo Kisara, clad in her powered suit.
From behind her visor, Kisara's cool gaze swept over the soldiers. With a fluid, almost effortless motion, she swung the high-tech katana in her hand.
A calm, clear woman's voice cut through the tension.
"Shadow Vortex!"
Hearing the voice, the soldiers were all stunned for a second.
"A... a woman?"
They never expected this robot-like figure to be a woman.
However, just as this surprised thought flashed through their minds, the scene quickly changed, forever freezing their thoughts at that final moment.
They saw a magic sword thrown from the air towards the ground, then forming a circular magic array.
The soldiers instantly felt themselves being torn apart by the rotating array, as if thrown into a blender, constantly churned.
Their bodies were split in two, then into multiple segments, then crushed.
And their souls were sucked away by a mysterious force, eventually turning to dust and vanishing from the world.
Tendo Kisara looked at the scene before her, a trace of excited smile on her face.
"Just the initial stage, and it's already this powerful!"
"If I get the later awakenings, how strong will I be?!"
kisara was very satisfied with her current power.
After her encounter with Yuki, Yuki had bestowed upon her the inherited power of the Dark Templar class.
With this power, she was fully capable of taking revenge on the Tendo family.
So, after putting on the battle armor, she rushed over without delay.
She wanted to kill Tendo Kikunojo and the other members of the Tendo family with her own hands.
Only then could she quell the resentment she had held for years.
Then, Tendo Kisara fought her way all the way up to the government headquarters. Facing the guards blocking her path along the way, Kisara showed no mercy.
She cleanly and efficiently used her power to eliminate them all, absorbing their souls to strengthen herself.
At this moment, the officials in the conference room, who were discussing plans to join forces with other countries to counterattack, were interrupted by hurried footsteps.
"Quick!!"
"Get out! There's—"
A guard burst in, trying to warn the officials here, but was instantly blasted to pieces by a magical projectile.
This scene stunned everyone in the conference room.
However, some reacted and quickly tried to escape through another door.
Unexpectedly, another magical projectile blasted that person to pieces too.
After being intimidated by this scene, no one dared to make a move as a slender figure slowly walked in through the main door.
Kisara retracted the helmet on her head, revealing her true face.
"Well, hello there, all you social elites!"
A mocking smile appeared on Kisara's face as she looked at these terrified officials.
These officials never expected that the enemy clad in such high-tech armor would be a young girl.
Tendo Kikunojo, at the head, felt his heart sink when he saw Kisara.
He recognized Tendo Kisara and knew why she had come.
"You've come. Kisara..."
Tendo Kikunojo pondered for a long time, but ultimately only managed to say this.
"Yeah, I've come!"
When Tendo Kisara looked at Tendo Kikunojo, her eyes gradually turned cold, finally becoming filled with intense resentment and sharpness.
"To take your life!"
Hearing this, Tendo Kikunojo remained unfazed, still calmly stroking his beard as he said:
"Is this suit of equipment obtained through dealings with illegal organizations like the Five Wings Federation or NEXT?"
"Getting involved with such organizations is not a good thing! It's not worth it."
Tendo Kikunojo seemed to transform into a grandfather concerned about his granddaughter.
However, Tendo Kisara paid no heed to Tendo Kikunojo's feigned concern.
"Even now, you still want to put on a concerned face?"
"Save your hypocrisy! Tendo Kikunojo!"
"If it weren't for your tacit approval, would my parents have died?"
"If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have suffered all those hardships in the past!"
"All of this, all of it, is because of you! It's your Tendo family that brought this upon me!"
"No matter what, you and your Tendo family will be destroyed by my hand!"
Tendo Kisara casually flicked the hand holding her sword.
A spear formed of magic instantly appeared, piercing through the group of officials on the right side, obliterating them completely.
Seeing this, Tendo Kikunojo's eyebrow twitched involuntarily.
He never expected Tendo Kisara to possess such power.
It didn't seem like power brought by the Gastrea virus at all, which left him bewildered.
"Surprised, aren't you?"
"I don't mind telling you, so you can die with understanding."
"This is the power I obtained from the man in the sky!"
As soon as Tendo Kisara said this, Tendo Kikunojo's face instantly changed.
It became filled with immense dread and fear.
"Hehe, alright. Since you already know, next, you and all of you here, go ahead and die!"
Tendo Kisara then leaped high into the air, launching several waves of sword energy to bombard the area.
Shadow Feast!
With this move of hers, she instantly razed the entire mansion to the ground.
Everyone here was either taken out by the sword energy or buried under the rubble, losing their lives.
By the time Tendo Kisara left and headed for the Tendo family, there were no survivors left here.
