KHAOS' POV
"You're getting way too close with the witch." Adrian said while pouring hot water into the very bath that Khaos had submerged himself in.
Normally, water temperature meant nothing to him. Cold or hot, it was all the same. But after the fiasco with a certain vixen in the form of Ember AshFall, Khaos had turned to a hot bath to calm his wandering thoughts.
Not like it helped one bit.
Ember had come on him, the very palatable image of a temptress. And if care wasn't taken, Khaos would soon fall on her feet as his subject.
But birds would soon turn to snakes the day he would allow such a thing to happen.
"She's not a witch." Khaos grumbled, not in the mood to entertain Adrian's shenanigans just yet.
"Nor is she a human." Adrian added, pouring more hot water into the tub.
"Surely you do not mean to argue witch origin history with me?" Khaos growled, eyes shut as the sensation of the hot water hit him like… nothing.
