"Maria am off to work, I got a double shift and I'll be back by morning, feel at home just as you've always been, take care of you" Kristen said
"Okay Kristen and I'll be good" I told him as he stepped out. I've been with him for a month now since my discharge from the hospital, the police have been here twice to take my statement about the fire outbreak which, took the lives of Mr Moore and his son Mark Moore.
I don't feel guilty for what I did, if I had to do that again I'll gladly do.
For three weeks I've been training myself in hip-pop dance moves and I'll score myself 8/10 to have mastered several moves. I also auditioned for the next CITY IDOL musical concret, I've been rehearsing none stop for over three weeks. I stumbled into one of the tickets just two days after my discharge and I said to myself 'why don't I give it a try'. My mom was actually a good singer who was about to wask her first album but the cold hands of death took her. Lucky for me I had taken most of my mom's things with me when I left to the bedsit some months ago before the fire. Right inside my room I am dancing to Tyla's song WATER and am enjoying it, I will dance for two hours everyday and four to five hours singing. You might be wondering why I didn't go for job hunting, well I changed my mind on that but I didn't give up on my profession as a designer, nope I did not.

"Kristen, Kristen am stepping out" I said to him as I was about going for the audition. He came out with sleepy eyes looking stressed up from work.
" Where are you off to?" Asked Kristen
" I got a musical concert audition tonight" I told him and he furrowed his brows
" Am sorry I should have told you before now". I apologized
" It's okay Maria, just that I don't want you getting hurt_ hold on I'll take you there" he said dashed off into his room before I could stop him. I sighed and had to wait.
" You really don't have to trouble yourself about me, I can handle myself you know" I told Kristen as he got on the highway.
" I do mind, your safety is my priority. I do this also to my sister so, why not". He said as he glance at me once then focused back on the road.
" At least I need to cheer you up as you perform" he said and I smiled, we both remained silent through the drive.
By the we arrived there were a lot of contestants some who has made name for themselves like the Bright Diamond Angels, R&Ks, The Triplets. I felt extremely nervous and wanted to back off. Who are my? Such a nobody compared to this talented singers, I don't even have a song of my own just wanted to do one of mom's songs.
" Don't be nervous believe in yourself, even if you don't make it to the top at least you tried. Be yourself no one can stop you expect your very self" Kristen said to me and I hugged him for the very first time since we met, I had tears in my eyes. He tap on my back gently.
"Thank you" I told him and he wipes off the tears from my eyes.
" You should get going" I waved at him and joined the others
