As Crow dismissed his stat screen, he felt something soft press against his back—arms wrapping tightly around him without warning.
"…Lyravex," he muttered.
The SSS-Rank Support Talent—and real player—clung to him like a lifeline, resting her head between his shoulder blades. Her level now stood proudly at 27, a beacon far above the rest of the server, second only to Crow himself.
"You're too far ahead, master," she whispered softly. "If I don't hold on… I might lose you."
Crow sighed, not in annoyance, but resignation.
He had gained power beyond logic, gathered allies of myth and godhood—but even in this new world, bonds between people still held weight. Even ones forged in silence… or desperation.
