Chapter One Hundred and Twenty-Seven
The runes beneath Crow's feet began to pulse with hostile energy. The first wave was coming—and it wasn't weak.
He didn't waste a second.
With a single thought, Liana, the Primordial Goddess of Reality, and Astrid, the Primordial Dragon of Space, Time, and Reality, shimmered into existence beside him. The air warped, bending around their presence as if the world itself bowed in submission.
Liana's silver-white hair flowed in the void-like pressure she radiated. "Another challenge, my king?" she asked, her voice teasing but laced with sharp intent.
Astrid's golden eyes narrowed. "Good. I was getting bored."
Crow pointed forward. "Wipe everything."
The sky tore open. The first wave of enemies surged from rifts—thousands of shadow-born beasts, each at least level 90,000, clawing forward in madness.
Astrid roared. Her wings stretched wide as time fractured in every direction. With a single flap, she unleashed a Chrono Singularity, freezing entire legions in a paradox of collapse and rebirth before annihilating them.
Liana followed, lifting one hand. Reality bent, unraveling like thread. A vortex of non-existence bloomed, swallowing every shadow creature in its path.
Wave One—cleared in less than ten seconds.
Crow crossed his arms. "Four to go."
The runes brightened again. Wave Two was forming.
Liana leaned close. "After this trial… you'll owe me a night alone, Crow."
Astrid growled lightly. "He's mine first."
Crow didn't reply. His focus remained razor-sharp, but deep down… he smirked. With these two at his side, even the gods wouldn't dare step in his path.
The trial had only just begun.
