Chapter One Hundred and Twenty-One
Crow sat calmly within his pocket dimension, surrounded by glowing data panels. One pulsed with a countdown: "Hero Slot Expansion Coins – Returning in: 00:19:43."
He tapped a few keys, pulling up his hero management interface. Fifteen heroes already filled his current limit, many of them SSS Rank or higher. But with the battlefield expanding, and his divine forces growing, he needed room—much more.
"Hm. Slot 16 will cost 16 coins, 17 will be 17... an increasing curve," Crow mused. "But there's no purchase cap."
He smiled slightly.
"There are 10,000 coins available," he said. "And I'll be taking them all."
He already had enough event points and premium currency stockpiled to outbuy the server tenfold. The moment the shop refreshed, he'd claim every coin.
His goal was clear: expand to 100 hero slots. A monumental leap, but easily within reach for someone with his resources.
"All I need," he murmured, "is time. Nineteen minutes. Then the real army begins."
And across the world, players would never even realize they were about to be outpaced again.
