[Year X791]

~ With Shisui ~

The seven flaming orbs struck Jura's position in rapid succession, each impact sending up enormous clouds of smoke and steam. The ground shook with each hit, and the barriers protecting the spectators flickered as they absorbed the residual heat and energy. For several long moments, nothing was visible except billowing smoke and the occasional flicker of residual flames.

When the smoke finally began to clear, Jura stood exactly where he had been, his body showing clear signs of burns and scorch marks but his stance still solid. His clothes were lightly singed, and steam rose from his superheated skin, but he remained upright and conscious.

"Does this mean I win? That was seven attacks, Shisui." Jura called out calmly despite his very minor injuries.

The crowd began to murmur their agreement, but Shisui laughed it off.

"That attack summons as many flaming orbs as I can under a single spell. But for this battle, I only needed ten, and all ten are part of one technique." He explained.

Jura's expression shifted as he processed Shisui's words.

"Ten?" He questioned, the significance hitting him immediately.

Shisui simply pointed skyward.

Every eye in the arena turned toward the sky. High above, three more flaming orbs were visible, much smaller now due to distance but still clearly burning as they continued their upward trajectory.

A member of Raven Tail burst into mocking laughter. "HAHAHAHA! FOR ALL YOUR POWER, YOU MISSED THREE OF YOUR FLAMING FIREBALLS!"

But his guild mates didn't join in the laughter. Neither did anyone else. Something about Shisui's calm confidence suggested this wasn't a mistake.

The three orbs reached their apex and exploded simultaneously among the clouds, the detonations creating brilliant flashes of light and heat. The sudden temperature change caused the existing cloud cover to shift dramatically. Within moments, new clouds began forming followed by the first drops of rain. Thunder soon rumbled overhead, low and ominous, while flashes of lightning began to illuminate the darkening clouds.

Shisui closed his eyes, his face turned upward toward the storm he had created as the raindrops fell onto his face.

"SHISUI HAS HIS EYES CLOSED IN SUCH A CRITICAL MOMENT!" Chapati's voice cracked with excitement. "IS HE SO ASSURED OF HIS VICTORY FROM HIS NEXT ATTACK?! OR IS HE PREPARING FOR THE STORM THAT'S ABOUT TO UNLEASH?!"

The crowd was beyond amazed. In the span of minutes, a single mage had altered the weather itself, turning a clear afternoon into the beginning of what looked like a serious thunderstorm. Yet most impressively, Shisui had done it without using a weather-changing spell, but from the sheer heat of his fire attack.

"This attack brings down lightning from the heavens." Shisui announced, his voice cutting through the sound of rain and distant thunder. "I merely direct it to you."

His declaration sent another wave of anticipation through the arena. In Fairy Tail's section, those who had witnessed his previous demonstration felt their excitement boiling further. Max had explained it to the others, but seeing it again would be no less impressive.

Makarov's own excitement was barely contained as he realized victory was about to be assured in spectacular fashion.

When Shisui opened his eyes, Jura tensed. Even from across the arena, the Wizard Saint could feel the shift in his opponent's presence. The eyes that looked back at him were no longer the calm black orbs from before, but something far more intimidating. A complex pattern resembling four-pointed pinwheels, with small points extending around the pupil.

'Those eyes… How terrifying.' Jura thought to himself.

Electricity began to crackle lightly around Shisui's right hand, small arcs of lightning dancing between his fingers. Slowly, deliberately, he began to raise that hand toward the storm clouds above. As he did, something extraordinary began to manifest behind him.

The spectators held their breath as a massive figure took shape. The same armoured humanoid warrior from the fight Shisui had against Laxus, made entirely of lightning. Standing easily over ten times Shisui's height, the armoured warrior towered behind Shisui imposingly as its featureless face stared down at Jura with an air of absolute authority.

The sight was beyond anything most had ever witnessed, and Jura had recognized the threat immediately. Against an attack of this magnitude, half-measures wouldn't suffice. He brought his hands together, pouring his magical energy into his ultimate defensive technique.

Earth Magic: Rock Mountain!

The ground behind him erupted as his most powerful defensive spell took shape. Rock and stone flowed upward, forming into a massive humanoid figure that protected Jura. The earthen construct took the form of an ancient warrior clad in Eastern armor, complete with an ornate helmet and stone protrusions that gave it an intimidating appearance. Bright lights glowed from the eye holes of its helmet, and its frowning visage radiated solid determination.

The two humanoid giants faced each other across the arena.

Lightning against stone.

Heaven against Earth.

The tension in the air was electric in more ways than one. When Shisui's hand reached its apex, pointing directly at the storm clouds above, the entire arena fell silent. Even the rain seemed to quiet, leaving only the distant rumble of thunder and the crackle of electricity.

"May judgment guide the strike, and the heavens decide your fate."

Lightning Style: Thunder God!

A massive bolt of lightning, far larger than any natural phenomenon, descended from the clouds as if the heaven's had made its judgement and a verdict reached. The strike was blinding white, so intense that many spectators had to shield their eyes or look away entirely. The accompanying thunder wasn't just heard. It was felt, a bone-deep rumble that shook the entire structure of Domus Flau.

The lightning found its target, striking both Jura and his defensive construct simultaneously. The impact created an explosion of debris, dust, smoke, and residual energy that filled the entire arena floor. The protective barriers around the spectator sections flickered and showed visible signs of major and critical damage as they absorbed the overwhelming magical energy.

For a long moment, nothing moved within the cloud of destruction. The arena was completely silent except for the settling of debris and the gradual return of normal rainfall. No one could see through the dense smoke and dust to determine the outcome of the clash. Seconds stretched into what felt like minutes as everyone waited for some sign of what had happened.

Finally, the smoke began to clear, revealing the arena floor. Both fighters were still standing. Shisui in his original position, unharmed, while Jura remained where he had been, though his appearance told a different story. The Wizard Saint's clothes were torn and burned, his skin showed clear signs of electrical burns, and he swayed slightly on his feet.

Then, slowly, Jura began to fall forward.

But before he could hit the ground, Shisui appeared beside him in a blur of movement, catching the fallen mage and gently lowering him to the arena floor. The gesture was both respectful and compassionate.

A warrior acknowledging another warrior's strength even in defeat.

Shisui stood tall, rain falling around him as he looked down at his unconscious opponent with what might have been regret for the necessity of such force.

One second passed in silence. Then two. Then three. Then the arena exploded.

The crowd went wild, their cheers and shouts louder than they had been at any point during the entire day. The spectacle they had just witnessed was beyond anything most had ever imagined possible. A single mage had not only defeated a Wizard Saint but had done so with an attack that seemed to come from the heavens itself.

Listening to the thunderous approval, Shisui slowly raised his hands and formed the distinctive hand sign that had become Fairy Tail's signature gesture.

"WHAT A SPECTACLE! JURA NEEKIS OF LAMIA SCALE HAS FALLEN TO A SINGLE ATTACK BY FAIRY TAIL'S SHISUI!" Chapati's voice boomed over the crowd, his excitement reaching fever pitch.

In the commentary booth, Yajima shook his head in amazement. "In all my years, that lightning attack was probably the strongest and most impressive I've ever witnessed."

The reactions throughout the arena were varied but intense. Laxus wore a satisfied smirk, while in Sabertooth's section, Olga stared with a dark expression, unable to accept that such a lightning attack was even possible. Even at his full power, he knew he couldn't produce anything approaching that level of devastation.

Raven Tail's section had gone quiet, the earlier mockery replaced by grim realization. Fairy Tail would not be the easy target they had anticipated, not with someone of Shisui's calibre among their ranks.

But the happiest reactions came from Fairy Tail itself. Some members had tears in their eyes, unable to believe they had just witnessed their guild mate defeat a Wizard Saint in such spectacular fashion. Others were celebrating openly, shouting and cheering without a care in the world.

Natsu stared at the arena with fire in his eyes, his excitement barely containable.

"That guy, I need to fight him!" He said, his voice filled with determination.

Sting and Rogue exchanged impressed looks.

"He's definitely gotten stronger since we last saw him." Sting commented. "I can't wait to see how we'd stack up against him now."

"Team Fairy Tail B moves up the ladder as they secure eleven points by the ending of Day One!" Chapati announced as the scoreboard updated. "And with that, we have come to the end of Day One of the Grand Magic Games! Here's the current standings!"

The rain continued to fall on the arena, washing away the smoke and debris, but nothing could wash away the memory of what they had all just witnessed.

First place: Sabertooth, 20 points

Second place: Blue Pegasus, 14 points

Third place: Fairy Tail Team B, 11 points

Fourth place: Fairy Tail Team A, 10 points

Fifth place: Raven Tail, 8 points

Sixth place: Lamia Scale, 6 points

Seventh place: Mermaid Heel, 2 points

Eighth place: Quatro Cerberus, 2 points.
