Chapter 104 - EPILOGUE

Eight years have passed since the town of Regondo has been peaceful, with no murders or crimes occurring, and only the darkness witnessing what happens.

Vince, Charles, and the other members of the organization have also been freed, and everything has become clear. The case involving the Fuego has been resolved, and the warehouse and huts there were burned down to prevent any further greed.

They are also starting to have good lives that they are working hard for. There are no more travels happening for them, ever since what happened back then.

Thalia fell into a deep sleep due to exhaustion from work, and she had just recently arrived in the Philippines after an out-of-town trip to another country with her team.

There are women talking.

"Are you done with what I asked you to do?" The woman asked while facing away from the person, looking out the building window at the busy streets.

Her companion just sighed. "Yeah, don't worry, the operation earlier wasn't a failure."

The woman just nodded. She faced her companion, clearly from a wealthy family, decently dressed, with smooth skin free of any scars or blemishes.

"We need to execute our plan, Tricia." The woman said.

Thalia was surprised by what she heard, her heart suddenly racing.

"I know you want revenge," Tricia said to the other woman. "Slowly but surely." Tricia sweetly smiled at the person she was talking to.

"They will regret this; they will regret not killing us."

"By the way, the good news is, little by little, our transactions are starting to penetrate that place, and we will get back at them."

Thalia saw images in her dream; this is what happened eight years ago. There was a woman crying, holding the cold corpse tightly.

She recognized her; her mind was not mistaken; she knew her very well.

"You will pay, you will pay!" she whispered, tears streaming down her face.

Suddenly, darkness engulfed her, she saw two souls, and above all, there were souls once again wandering in the void of darkness.

"We will return to that place, Isabel. We will play with them again. Just don't get impatient, because we're about to see them very soon."

She sat up from her bed, her breath coming in gasps.

Isabel, Tricia. She thought to herself back then.

Thalia still remembered that when she was released, she was given the opportunity to go abroad, along with her cousin Tricia.

Don't tell me... She didn't continue with what was on her mind, and she knew her intuition was right.

Isabel is reviving the organization they destroyed before. Thalia touched her forehead. She closed her eyes again and opened them.

Thalia knew it was still dawn; she couldn't sleep anymore, so she went to the kitchen to drink water. She saw her younger brother.

"Greg?" she called softly.

"Sis," he immediately said.

She had a premonition; she saw her brother Greg getting involved in the impending chaos and a young man she didn't know getting entangled. Her heart ached.

"Sister, do you see it again?" her sibling asked her.

She was taken aback by her sibling's question. Thalia didn't answer his question.

"Why aren't you asleep yet, Greg?" she asked.

Her brother is fifteen years old and is in grade nine in junior high school.

"I'm just finishing a project, sis." This was his response to her.

"You need to sleep; don't you have classes?" she asked her little brother once again.

"We don't have class today, so I'm finishing my performance task."

She just nodded. "Go to sleep first."

Greg immediately nodded, and her brother didn't pester her anymore. Thalia couldn't fully comprehend that what happened back then would keep happening again and again.

Does Ericka see the pattern too? She questioned in her mind.

Thalia was deep in thought, with her chin resting on her hand.

"Why did you wake up so early?" her brother Felix asked.

"I just had jet lag, brother."

He just nodded at her and sat down with her.

"Did something happen? You're thinking too deeply." This is what he said.

Thalia just shook her head. She doesn't want to talk about her dream right now.

"It's undeniable that you have something on your mind right now," asked her older brother, letting out a sigh.

Felix took a cup and brewed coffee, then returned to her side and carefully sipped his coffee.

"Brother, I'm going on a journey again."

Her brother just listened. "Is this about Tricia and Isabel?" he calmly asked Thalia.

She was surprised by what her sibling said.

"Do you already know what will happen?" she asked.

Felix smiled at her. "No, but I know they will come back for revenge." He sighed.

"Why is this happening? Until when will the revenge end? How long will the revenge last?" She asked her brother and seemingly wanted an answer.

"That's just how the world turns, Thalia. Many people seek revenge because of the emotions they feel. We are human, Thalia; we are swayed by the emotions felt by both. Her brother was killed in the encounter." He just told her.

"To the point of reviving the organization?" Thalia only shakes her head in disbelief.

Suddenly, someone called her phone. She furrowed her brow and looked to see who was calling.

"Ericka?" she asked.

She quickly answered the call.

"Thalia, this is not good; they will come back." That was the only greeting she heard and the concern in Erica's voice.

"I know, I just had a journey earlier," she said.

"Many people will be affected by this; Greg will be affected by it, and there will also be another person affected by it. I don't understand why—why is this coming back to me now?"

"I know that; I don't know what to do anymore."

"I see that Isabel has another companion with abilities like ours." Ericka said to her.

Thalia just frowned.

"Who—who?" Thalia asked Ericka.

"I don't know," Ericka even said.

"Just take a break for now. I know you still have work to do, right?" Thalia asked Ericka.

"I'll update you again; let me know what you see too." Ericka just said it.

She sighed at the call she received.

"Calm down for now. Let's see where fate takes us." Her brother, who remained calm and composed, spoke while looking at her.

Thalia just sat down and nodded; she didn't know what would happen to them. They don't know what danger they will face in the future. She was just contemplating the possibilities of what might happen.

Her brother tapped her.

"This, we have a lot to help each other with." Thalia heard him say it and smiled at her.
