Everything seemed manageable until Cain heard a new term , 'Ratones'.
Elli didn't know much so Cinder and Athena began explaining what a Ratone is.
'A Ratone is a energy like Mana and Qi but different at the same time , Qi required Spiritual power and Mana needed Mental power to maintain but Ratone energy didn't , when you awaken your racial abilities , a bulged stones forms on one's body , there are Ratone.'
"Cool.." Cain muttered and got up on his legs. He then looked at the neatly placed clock above the door and it showed quarter to six , he had woken pretty early.
He then told them to disperse to their places since he had better things to do , he was in coma for two years for Author's sake! He needed to become healthier so he got on the floor.
As soon as he started to do a push up , his body couldn't function and he fell down.
"Hell..." he cursed , he had become puny , he couldn't even do a push up! He could do clean 20 in his previous life despite being a nerd , same goes for this life but he didn't expect his power to go down this dramatically in two years coma....
"Elli , do you know a way to train my fragile body?" Asked Cain to which Elli responded with a yes , she knew that Cain had been in a coma for two years so it's expected.
The first thing she taught him was how to high frog jumps , although it may not seem like it but jumping was a really good exercise for him , it targeted his entire body.
After an hour of high frog jumps , he got tired and took a break.
"Young Master must be really strong, doing 100 high frog jumps is really great~" said Cinder , she was that famous girl , confident and proud individual unlike Elli who was quite innocent and not so confident, Athena, well she was confident and super smart , a beauty with brains indeed.
"Well Cinder , it's none of your business." Cain said with a cold expression and walked towards his bathroom.
Cinder was astonished that Young Master would say something this hurtful when she thought he was kind but Cinder didn't know that Cain hated people like her.
'I know...just because she reminded me of Paige Shelby I decided to be cold , I'm really pathetic when it comes to my past , even though I have everything.'
Cain took a hot shower so that his body will finally some stimulus and dressed in a normal blue pant and a white shirt , the maids tried to help him wear the dress but he declined, he was not a pervert and his body was weak...
Cain could feel Elli , Cinder and Athena looking at his body , it was covered with many scars due to the accident and he had lost most of his fat and looked like a skeleton.
He didn't mind and went down for breakfast.
He asked Elli for direction and saw the huge dinning table and wasn't surprised, having a huge house always meant that but he didn't understand how his family became so rich in two years...
He found out that his parents or his siblings haven't woken up yet , likely due to the fact that normal wake up time for a human in this world is 8 and early meant 7 but never 5.45AM , but he did and now it was just 6.30.
'Strange World , Strange Rules'
That was his slogan of the Life since he had every kind of experience in past four years , he concluded this fact.
He had awoke his past life memories for three years and was in coma for two years , amazing....so he sat on a chair near the table , not on the biggest one since it looked like it belonged to dad.
Then that old looking butler came near him and looked at him trying to process the hell was happening.
"Um breakfast is not yet ready?" Cain asked , unsure of the response.
"I'm sorry Young Master, I didn't know that you have your breakfast at 6.30 , I'll order the chefs right away , please wait ten minutes" said the butler and hurried in his pace to the chef quarters mostly.
Elli , Athena and Cinder followed him and were beside him the entire time , it seems like they were ordered to look after him so he didn't mind. He gestured Elli to come near and she did.
"Um did you guys even sleep?" Cain asked to which he got a expected response.
"Master we don't need sleep , Qi , Mana and Ratone Energy make us fully functioning at all times" Elli replied to which Cain didn't give much reaction too.
"Aren't you the same age as me? We can be friends" Cain said smilingly but Elli made a weird face he didn't expect.
"We are not supposed to be friends with you Young Master , we should only serve you." Elli said to which Cain felt a need to pinch her cheeks and maybe kis-
'Not everything is sexual you know! She's really cute!'
"Young Master , i-is there s-something more?" Elli asked shyly as Cain was staring at her a lot since he came.
Cain breaking out of his stupor looked at Elli and blushes, he was staring at her face again while talking to the narrative.
"Sorry , your just so cute." Cain said subconsciously and there was a silence that a filled a room for a brief second.
Cain and Elli were blushing hard and Cain realised how much he let his thoughts slip up.
"G-go back to your initial p-place" Cain said still blushing and looked at Cinder and Athena , even they heard it....and blushing.
'SH#T , All because of you narrative and fourth wallers!'
Cain just sat on his seat , flustered and just wished 10 minutes were up.
After so much time , he heard sound of utensils, then a butler came in a trolly which reminded him of a food cart and it was like he was in movie with all those shiny sphere like things which he didn't know names off , were covering the food.
The butler placed the plate and the utensils namely a dinner knife and a dinner fork. Then he opened the sphere things , it was....what the hell was this? It looked more like a salad.
"Excuse me ,what's this?" He asked in a sweet voice , he didn't want to show his violent behavior from his past life.
"It's Salad , Young Master" the young butler said with a mocking smile , I knew this smile....it wasn't like the smile my family or the maids gave me but the smile which Paige gave when she-
"You F##ker , it doesn't take Einstein to know that's its a salad, go bring me good breakfast before ill make my maids gouge your eye out." Cain said softly with a smile , the kind of smile which would make others cowar in fear.
"I-ill bring i-it" the butler said meekly and took the dish and walked away in that trolly thing.
'Truly , it looks like a normal trolly in supermarkets but just fancier and I hate getting bullied.'
Cain wouldn't let himself get bullied in this life again , he actively participated in the class and got friends. If they tried to bully , he would show them what he truly was , a monster.
'I won't tell more of my past life in that matter but I will say....I am the who killed my family.'
Cain stood there staring at nothingness, he was reminded a lot of his past life's memories now and his eyes began to tear up remembering the suffering he experienced in the school , orphanage , part time jobs.....the maids seeing this were confused but couldn't do anything.
'I am pathetic , I can't leave my past even when God gave me a new chance at life.'
Cain just sat there looking sad , his eyes a little watery , he was about to cry but he held it back , he smiled again.
"Dammit , I'm bored! El , Thena , Cinder , come with me to roam in the garden , it's boring here" Cain decided not to eat his breakfast and just drank a glass of cold milk that he got before and stood up from his table.
The maids didn't question and followed him , as the garden approached, he could hear the birds chirping , the air , the pollution free atmosphere , he saw many maids and butlers but he ignored them and took a stroll in the garden.
The garden was filled with roses , tulips , sunflowers aswell....it was heaven to see these many colors at once. This out a smile on his face.
"Damn I wish even I got a super power..." he cursed under his breath which may be heard by the three maids behind him but honestly, he didn't care.
He walked until he reached the centre of the garden where 8 statues were present , he knew just by looking that there were the 7 races but what's the 8th statue?
"Um Athena , Cinder , what are these?" Cain questioned Athena and Cinder since he learned that Ellie was a combat maid who knew combat more while Athena and Cinder were Support Maids of sort who had info.
Athena took the responsibility to tell me what these statues were.
"Young Master, these statues represent the 7 races , them being:
•Human: mammals who live on average for 100 years and specialized in hand to hand combat.
• Elerate: mammals who live on average for 1,000 years , same as humans but they specialize in magic and they have they're signature pointy ears.
•Usucu: mammals who are short , muscular and they live on average for 900 years and they are highly skilled forgery related.
•Dragons: Reptile family , who specializes in magic , they're talent in magic is so high that they are said to be chosen by Gods. They live on average 7,800 years.
•Beastkin: just like humans but possess qualities of some animals , they live the same age as humans and they specialize in Qi , a spiritual energy which is unlike Mana that is mental energy.
•Demons: humans looking but with darker traits , wings and horns are common , they live 1,000 years on average and they possess talent in Ratone crystals.
•Demi Gods: not much is known"
Cain's eyes went wide, he expected this much from a fantasy world revolving around two stars but- seriously? Demi Gods?
"Wait..Ratones are possessed by Demons aswell? And what's the 8th statue?"
This time Cinder answered.
"Ratones are possessed by every Kind , and colors differ for each race and there are again levels for Ratones , don't worry Young Master, I know that you'll get there" Cinder said smilingly.
"Oh and also the 8th statue there is the statue of the Great Hero of Makhor! Emperor Ikar Issac Steford!"
