The towering Eight-Tails was none other than Killer Bee in full transformation.
As a perfect Jinchuriki, Bee could harness Gyuki's power completely.
He'd never imagined anyone could push him this far. Since becoming a ninja, no foe had matched him until this Konoha kid.
But Tengen's feat enraged Bee, who realized his subordinates had perished, caught in the attack's shockwave.
Their deaths, accidental or not, were on Tengen.
"Tengen, your fleeting brilliance is something else." Bee said slowly, "But you still die here."
Gyuki spewed a flood of ink, ensnaring Tengen, slowly sealing him within.
"Sealing Technique: Ink Binding Flow!"
This seal, powered by Gyuki's ink, immobilized foes unless they unleashed overwhelming force to break free.
The Eighth Gate of Death might do it, but Bee doubted Tengen's body could endure.
"No way." Bee muttered, stunned. From Tengen's sealed form, red chakra seeped out, surging like a tidal wave, radiating an unstoppable aura.
The air warped around him.
"Gate of Death, open!" Tengen's icy voice rang out. With an unprecedented chakra eruption, the black ink was obliterated.
Tengen reappeared before Bee.
His body glowed with red chakra, blood seeping and evaporating, turning his hair and brows crimson.
"The final gate." Bee awestruck. Tengen's frail frame held unimaginable power.
"It hurts like hell." Tengen said, his body teetering on collapse. "A few seconds left. Gotta end this fast."
Boom!
He stomped, cratering the ground and vanishing in a blur.
Even as Gyuki, Bee couldn't track Tengen's speed.
Armament Haki: External Strike!
Tengen appeared beneath Gyuki, unleashing a devastating Haki blast. At the Eighth Gate's peak, his Haki reached its zenith.
The force seemed to freeze the air itself.
The blast erupted under Gyuki, hurling the massive beast skyward.
"How?" Bee's face twisted. The power overwhelmed him, leaving no room to counter. As he tried to regroup, Tengen's voice cut through.
"Evening Elephant!"
"First Step!" Tengen swung his arm from below, an air cannon blasting Gyuki higher.
"Second Step!" A stronger blast followed.
"Third Step!"
"Why can't I move?" Bee's expression shifted. His body was locked, unable to resist the relentless strikes.
"I can't hold on, Bee." Gyuki's voice echoed in his mind.
Tengen's attacks were too ferocious.
"Am I dying here? With this Konoha kid, no, Tengen, buried together?" Bee knew Tengen's Eighth Gate would kill him too.
"Fifth Step!" Tengen appeared above Gyuki, the Evening Elephant's peak strike primed.
The ultimate Fifth Step.
Boom!
The sky twisted, air cannons pummeling Gyuki, sending him crashing like a meteor into a massive crater.
[Ding! Mission complete: Defeated Killer Bee. Reward: One-Punch Man HD video.]
The system chimed in Tengen's ear.
A pained smirk tugged at his lips, agony coursing through him. He'd done it.
The Eight Gates had one final technique, Night Guy, but Tengen's body couldn't handle it. Pushing further risked instant death.
The red aura faded, his hair and brows reverting to black, his body marred by cracked veins and fissures.
"Senzu Bean time." Tengen swallowed the bean he'd kept in his mouth for emergencies.
With a gulp, vibrant life force flooded him. His ravaged organs and muscles healed instantly, a miraculous recovery.
Senzu Beans were indeed a lifesaver.
Glancing at the crater, Tengen took off with the Flight. Bee might still be alive.
But with the video secured, there was no need to keep fighting.
His true strength was still lacking.
Half an hour later, a figure crawled from the crater. "Nearly died."
It was Killer Bee.
"Is Tengen dead?" Bee scanned the area, finding no body. "Or turned to dust?"
"Shame, Tengen. I wanted to face you again." Bee departing.
In his mind, Tengen had perished at the Eighth Gate.
But Tengen hadn't rejoined Orochimaru. He paused, eager to see what the hard-earned One-Punch Man HD video held.
