Chapter 82 Shinya versus the knight
Quickly running as fast as his feet could move him Shinya reached the end of the hallway just to see the king going down into a room down below.
Shinya immediately followed the so-called king down below into what seemed like a cellar of some sorts where you would have dead bodies and prisoner's captive.
Though at least that's what he thought the staircase would take him too. It didn't though as Shinya had officially now stumbled into a different room almost like it was a spell and caused him to transfer somewhere else in space time entirely.
Looking in front of his eyes Shinya saw a Man in front of him dressed in all black with a red cape. This was the true leader of the knights or perhaps also the king's main bodyguard.
Before Shinya could call out, he observed his surroundings noticing it was a grey cobblestone room maybe 20 by 20 feet with almost nothing else in it besides a few chairs and just the man in front of him and Shinya.
This was the overwhelming presence of the knight before him as Shinya truly started to grasp the situation at least he thought he did.
He noticed though inside of the helmet there was no skull. This was already a dead knight.
Just like Lucas although Shinya had not known he just needed to basically blast the body parts away from each other, only problem was that Shinya did not have this information available to him at the time.
"Child of the evilness within the world I shall take your soul so that you can be cleansed now you shall regret ever being born within this world. "Said the knight fully dressed in black with a fire coming out of his skull. About ten feet tall with a big black sword that could slash almost anything in half it seemed like.
Honestly more than anything while Shinya was completely and utterly scared, he also thought the knight was cool as fuck though obviously he would not say this especially since this was someone that was potentially trying to take Shinya's life now.
Before Shinya could even say anything or do anything the knight had begun to move.
Sprinting directly towards Shinya's direction it was like a flash step straight off boxing or a video game the speed of such a giant was so surprising.
Shinya barely managed to dodge as he rushed to the side now pushed against the side of the room as the knight slowly took steps towards him.
It was clear that the knight was confident in his abilities and was underestimating Shinya entirely.
Shinya realized he could now use this to his advantage in some way shape or form.
All it would take is one shot to at least knock the head off the knight if he could achieve it then he knew that he would be one up in this exchange of their lives.
Barely even enough time just a few seconds to rise back up and get ready for the next attack from the knight he once again just got ready completely. Little did Shinya know he was not ready at all as the knight had only increased his speed once again.
This time he had managed to slash Shinya cross his chest as the huge sword had managed to go across his chest fast enough due to the knight's insane speed and left a huge gaping slash across Shinya's chest causing him to start bleeding out.
Shinya knew the severity of the situation entirely the longer he let it go on only the longer and worse his body would end up from this situation he had to end it as fast as he could if he could just take the head off, he though.
Shinya got up once again watching the knight just walk chasing after him, realizing maybe the knight had a cool down on that skill he couldn't constantly use it just like a wizard with spells there was a cool down or perhaps a certain amount of mana that he had to use.
A similar system was totally a possibility especially in a situation like this it could only seem increasingly real Afterall.
Shinya watched one more time just waiting for the knight to attack him and he did. This time Shinya didn't even dodge it he took it head on and counted the seconds it took.
"1, 2, 3. 4" Shinya thought to himself.
Within the time it took the knight to grab ahold of both of his swords Shinya must launch his head off with Shinya's gun within that time in fact maybe he didn't even need to do that though he could try something else.
Shinya launched himself over to the other side right where the chairs were. Perhaps it gave Shinya the thought that this place might've been a beheading room. Shinya as quick as he could went to the side and began to wait patiently as the knight slowly got closer just a few feet maybe 7 or 8 feet away from him and the chair just to the right of Shinya his idea had come to fruition.
The knight launched himself towards Shinya, but it was too late the knight slice a chair in half just for Shinya to not be right there as Shinya had slid underneath the knight's body.
"Bingo bitch!" Said Shinya as he launched a bullet straight through the middle of the knight's helmet causing it to split in half and for the flame that was previously there to dissolve entirely.
Shinya had done it he had figured it out correctly as he watched as the huge suit had slowly begun to fall to the ground.
Shinya got up off the ground now with deep cuts across his chest and on his right arm along with his wrist that was already kind of fucked still this just added to his list of injuries in this horrible place.
Shinya watched as the corpse of the already fallen knight had begun to completely turn into ashes perhaps this was just another trick of the kings.
The entirety of the room that Shinya was in had begun to dissolve too as the cobblestone dark color room had begun to transform back into the room, he thought it was before.
This seemed much more right, Shinya honestly felt bad for the knight a little bit he thought along the lines to be brought back from the dead in this sort of way this was such a fucked up situation for his soul or whatever happens in the afterlife how could someone do this to him it didn't make sense.
This just made him want more answers from the king and make him feel some type of way.
So now with the truth of the situation being shown Shinya could see down the now cellar like area and see the king at the end of it.
The end of all this situation had come now.
