Going back to the man at hand Lucas with his massive pressure on his shoulders. The truth about the situation just hitting deeper inside of his soul. The fact that he had to kill this wizard before him.
Not even knowing the name of the man he had to take the life from made Lucas feel some type of way.
To see the life fade away from his eyes was a weird feeling that Lucas was not used too.
"Get over here and stop hiding behind the furniture you absolutely vile creature you rodent I shall take your soul!" Shouted the wizard as he had the preparations to launch another spell at Lucas though this time the spell was different.
The spell was not something of the elemental it was of something around them.
As Lucas watched as the wizards spell began to enchant the lifeless corpse of knight suits on the wall to the right of Lucas.
Lucas watched as these giant suits probably almost ten feet in height and made from all silver and strong materials keeping everything together, they began to move.
Moving towards where Lucas was at Lucas knew he had to do something.
Realistically he just had to kill the wizard before these spells bind things of magic or whatever they really are could kill Lucas it was a race against time.
Lucas ran from behind the furniture to the side of the left an open area but it was perfect for Lucas right now. As he launched something in the air that turned everything in the area grey the whole room was covered in a grey smoke of some sorts.
The wizard instantly knew this was no spell nor normal method of fighting he was more like an assassin something that the wizard had heard of.
So, he decided to do it he decided to start the chant for a spell of light. He found it strange though that the whole time that he tried to do it nothing had happened to him just for all the grey fog type of cover to slowly fade away.
Before the wizard could compete the spell, the grey fog was already gone but it was too late as what he saw before him.
Were the knights that the wizard had just tried to get to kill Lucas were on the floor lifeless completely ripped apart like they had died a second time.
Just for the wizard to look around and not even see someone and at the last moment before the wizard finished his spell, he noticed everything spinning in the air.
"Huh why is everything spinning why am I seeing my own body over there? Why is it lifeless? "Said the wizard the final thoughts he could think as he saw his lifeless body fall to the ground.
It was an insane feat by Lucas going back just a few moments ago just a few minutes.
As soon as the world had gone grey the whole area covered Lucas got in his stance as he watched as the knights still knew where he was even if the wizard didn't so realize this, he knew he would have to take the knights out first.
Thinking that if he could take them out in time and then kill the wizard as soon as he began to be able to see stuff again, he knew that he could do it he just needed to get it in time.
Putting his sniper rifle on his shoulder on one knee as he began to blast beams towards the bodies of the knights.
Completely causing the bodies to fall and fall without even making any noise almost as if they were vaporized themselves.
As they were coming towards the left wall towards Lucas he had to kill them all before they could get close enough to him as Lucas was not confident enough in his hand-to-hand skills against knights of the past.
Running around now he even ran behind the wizard as there were just a few knights left he jumped up in the air right before he charged it up all the way and fired another beam
WOOSH!!
Was all you could hear as the beam shot passed the wizard above him to the remaining knights and them falling down to the ground.
Now with the grey fog dissipating you could see the why the wizard had become completely dumbfounded as they knight's before him were all on the ground.
Lucas had gotten close, closer than the wizard had even though as Lucas took a knife out of his belt and launched it straight across the wizard's neck as it sliced his head clean off.
This was just another kill for Lucas Afterall he was someone that could've been called a mercenary in his past. This was just another situation in which he had to turn off his emotions and watch as the lifeless corpse of another man around him had fallen to the ground.
