The reality of the continent ch 62
Furthermore, taking one final look around him before having to actually move on and go somewhere else on the map. Shinya noticed it at that last point that he possibly could take one final look back at the house
Hearing creaks and what sounded like breaking and punches in walls Shinya obviously Had to turn around and see what it was.
"Do you see it now the true reality of the candy continent, do you see deathly despair? Have you found the answer you wished for?" Said Lucas, looking at Shinya who was awestruck looking at the scene before his eyes.
There were several corpses around a broken half in the ground house.
With so many corpses on the ground the ground ran red from the blood the clouds turned to hanging organs on spears. The bubbles in the sky turned skulls floating. The previously beautiful moon turned blood soaringly red. The sun out at the same time looked rusted and old like it had used up all its energy. This was the true reality of the candy kingdom.
There was no food, only starvation and cannibalism.
This was the true reality of this world. Very few continents left had food to go around. Every continent just pretended they did as to not allow the general population to come to the realization as to what they are eating. This was the result of the planet.
Shinya looked back and saw the mountain of corpses and hell on earth in a sense and was struck with fear.
It was Irene that struck him out of fear.
"Hey, wake the fuck up and come back so what if that's reality that's why you got to win and change reality!!!" Shouted Irene in front of Shinya, getting him to draw his attention to her.
"Oh yeah you're right." said Shinya his spirits once again completely crushed though when he looked forward, he saw the beauty.
Perhaps it was fake beauty or beauty that didn't actually exist, yet it made Shinya feel more confident and special and happy to be alive. A divine path forward full of hope and a path full of despair behind. Shinya decided to move forward.
"Well okay then let's get a move on!!" Said Shinya more confidently now slapping himself back into some sense.
With both Irene and Lucas now faintly smiling as they watch Shinya go in front of them and start leading the way.
It was a long walk before they could even reach another place so in the meantime all they could do was talk.
"So, well what was your guy's human world like???" Shinya being the first one to bring up conversation possibilities.
"Well mine I'd describe it as a steampunk like society I think you guys call it the 1800s but we use flying equipment and "old guns" or as you guys call it and we primarily use trains for transportation and these types of clothes," said Irene
Now flaunting off her actual clothes, not the rags she was wearing before Shinya could fully take it into account now.
He noticed the almost dress like outfit she was wearing with leggings and big black boots with it covering all the way up to her boobs and the straps going to the side. She had a nice figure, yet it was that big it was more of just the curvy side of figures, Shinya thought to himself. With her stunning looks she wore clothes that almost didn't seem like they matched her, making her even more stunning.
Seeing Shinya staring at her, Irene just smiled and continued walking toward her.
The next one to speak up was Lucas.
"Well I'd say mine wasn't as happy as I grew up basically in test experiments there was only one city called cybers edge and beyond that was all snowy mountains and land I mean Afterall I am the futuristic version of your continent Shinya so you could just see it as your future and everything that is still around basically." Said Lucas trying to get Shinya to understand.
Shinya fully understood it through and what it meant. As it basically meant nardeg was the equivalent of this cybers edge that Lucas was referring too.
"So, then what about you what about the quote-on-quote modern society of humans?" Said Irene looking questioning at Shinya while Lucas listened attentively but not looking away from the walk.
As they were going down, an ironically yellow brick road now that appeared after the house was burnt down and disappeared.
The yellow brick was made from yellow thick poofy marshmallows, and you could even take one out of the road and bite it, shortly after another would appear.
"So, what was it like then exactly Shinya?" Said Lucas now asking attentively
"Well honestly more than anything I'd say it's harsh the economy is slowly becoming more and more fucked there's less and less food and more and more people are being born along with the several other factions in the world it makes us think we barely have a chance of living to be real with you guys." Said Shinya
Both Lucas and Irene just kept walking both, not even saying a thing.
Irene was the first to speak up.
"Don't worry, we understand it Shinya Afterall our continent is a reflection of yours. You know it really does make me wonder was the world always truly 16 continents it just doesn't make sense you know?" Said Irene leaving the question up in the air.
While nobody else said anything, everyone else was questioning the world too just how this world truly even existed.
They continued to walk in their silence and their thoughts before arriving now at the cave.
Oh, fuck this is literally the complete wrong way I'm screwed, aren't I? Thought Shinya
