Shinya's focus. Ch61
Shinya was virtually stuck frozen in this time capsule of a moment.
On his right side the man he saw before and on the left the witch using spells to fight him.
Before Shinya could even understand what was happening a desert storm. coming from nowhere showed up with fire surrounding it causing the sunny and bubbly environment to change shape completely.
The previous clouds everywhere blue and pink sky with the bubbles everywhere and sun shining down yet it was not hot, yet it was warm combined with the rainbows. All of it had begun to go away only leaving behind what could be described as a fiery desert with sand below Shinya's feet. Seeing the massive spiral of sand and fire entrapped inside.
Shinya could barely understand this Afterall he had never seen magic before he had just heard of it in books in school never seeing it with his own eyes. It completely amazed him.
His eye barely grasping and words could not describe the way true magic showed the possibilities of this world.
" Holy fuck what the actual fuck is that." Shinya couldn't help but saying out loud.
Only for Irene to show up next to him.
" Yeah, it is honestly insane what people with magic can do and just to think that's a npc that's not even a real person or the real possibilities of magic. We are just like the grains of sand beneath our feet in this tournament Shinya." Said Irene with a more serious face.
"That is why we must stick together to each other more." Said Irene now looking Shinya completely with a sharp gaze making sure he wouldn't change his mind.
Shinya gulped and tried to nod his head to agree with her. His body still ultimately focused on the battle before him.
" You are nothing we are in an open field you are nothing compared to my magic you human you are nothing but a lowly human you aren't even a higher race just a lowly human dare to battle me! Learn your place trash!" Said Cruella.
With a laughing maniac evil grin across her face as she waved her hands pushing the desert fire storm now towards the man.
" Just watch you'll see the true power that human's possess." Said the man with a complete calm voice.
" Just watch Lucas, he'll show you what humans are capable of bitch!!!" Shouted Irene playfully in the witch direction.
Shinya just stood there completely dumbfounded at the situation before just how he could actually come back to the massive magic in front of the man called "Lucas".
Suddenly a giant gun was pulled out of quite possibly a vortex or thin air.
" hey, turn on sniper mode, tech" said Lucas completely changing his sound almost sounding happy now. A massive grin appeared on his face though that was barely the most surprising thing.
Suddenly the giant gun transformed before Shinya's very own eyes what looked like a giant pistol transformed into a high-tech militarized sniper rifle with several extensions with a black and neon blue color all over it.
Futuristic.
The only word that could truly convey the thoughts inside Shinya's mind at the time. This was the possibility of humanity's technology? A gun that can change all aspects and variety of it just because of a few words from it? How was this possible at all?
While these thoughts were going through Shinya's mind it didn't matter in reality.
As Lucas focused his eyesight on the blue holographic scope and held down the trigger when it happened.

just then with Shinya's eyes barely able to keep up with it as Lucas was in a nearly kneeling position with his shoulder over the sniper rifle. A giant energy beam got pulled out of the small sniper rifle where the bullet would come out.
What was first a small beam nearly just piercing through the middle of the witch's forehead slowly enveloped to a massive bright blue beam.
With it getting bigger and bigger Shinya could feel the heat coming off of it from several hundred feet away.
It got big enough to almost encase the whole witch's body. When suddenly the sand and fire almost tornado at this point completely disappeared.
All that was left was all four limbs now laying down on the ground. This was the power of humanity's future.
The power of cyberpunk humanity.
Completely in awe and still not even being able to understand what truly just happened before his eyes. The ground that was covered in sand had virtually disappeared and the man named Lucas's attention was drawn now in Shinya's direction.
Putting the huge sniper rifle away back into the vortex he slowly walked towards Shinya and Irene.
"Hey! Holy shit I wasn't expecting you to do that much Lucas that's actually insane you know!!! You didn't need to go that overboard!" Said Irene now in a mad tone completely.
"Don't worry I'll be fine I swear but who is this? Once I got your coordinated and saw you were captured, I rushed over as fast as I could, but it seems you met someone else as well then?" Said Lucas with a questioning tone in his voice.
Taking a deeper look at how Lucas looked like Shinya truly noticed his absolutely almost beautiful like features he was very good looking for a guy. With black hair and black eyes and long black eye lashes that only suited his looks more. Noticing the neon blue suit and black and grey covering his whole body. It almost seemed like a body suit. Perhaps this was what people of the future used as clo-
Before Shinya could finish his sentence inside his mind he heard another voice.
"Hey, stop zoning the fuck out and wake up to reality motherfucker give me one reason we should keep you along with us?" Said Lucas now in a hostile tone.
Because of Shinya's tendency to stay inside his mind too much he was now at a crossroad where he must make a decision.
Would he go with them now or would he go alone?
Risk going alone he thought fuck that.
He will go with these people he must go with them but how? He had to create a reason for them to let him go with them it was clear they were humans from the other continents on this tournament. What could he say though that would convince them to let him come with them when the thought hit him.
"Look I've went to this continent before, and I know how it looks I even have a map of how to get the treasure." Said Shinya
Pulling out the map and handing it to Lucas and Irene, Irene now standing next to Lucas obviously showing her loyalty at this point.
"Treasure? Hmm well and you've said you've been to the candy continent before, so you know how this place the true nature actually is then." Said Lucas before looking at the map and showing Irene
Before handing it back to Shinya Lucas looked directly into Shinya's eyes.
"Hey, you are the only other human besides us in this tournament and we're the weakest species on average just know that we expect you to pull your weight from now on understand?" Said Lucas looking straight into Shinya's eyes looking for solace and truth.
" Yeah, I understand completely," said Shinya
Now realizing he was going to be a part of their group of two making it three he had to survive to do whatever was possible he knew what he must do. This was just a steppingstone in him winning this tournament. He had to survive. Looking up at the sun and talking to himself.
"Hey, wake the fuck up to reality and let's get moving on to the next area on the map." Said Lucas grounding Shinya back to reality
" Oh alright…" said Shinya now defeated.
