Chapter 105 - [105] Ulti Talks Back, Page Gets Smacked

Back when Page One got beat up as a kid…

And Ulti, pissed and ready to avenge him.

"Page… I'm sorry. As your sister… I've really failed you..."

Hearing his sister say that, Page One looked at her like he'd seen a ghost — utterly shocked.

He never imagined that his hot-tempered, overbearing sister would say something like that.

Well… maybe this wasn't so bad…

He turned his attention to the ghost floating next to Sora.

Was that thing the cause of this?

Then he shouted at Sora in fury:

"What did you do to my sister?!"

Watching Ulti, the infamously short-tempered brute, get reduced to such a state, Sora couldn't help but laugh.

With a temper like hers, she'd be fun to break in.

In truth, while the Negative Ghost's ability was freakishly effective, its flight speed wasn't fast — it only worked as a surprise attack in close range. Once someone was aware of it, landing a hit became difficult.

That's why Moria had Perona stay hidden back then to sneak-attack Sora.

If Ulti had been just a little more careful, with her strength, the ghost wouldn't have touched her.

But no — she was a headstrong idiot.

The kind that runs full speed into a wall and still refuses to stop.

Which meant all Sora had to do was piss her off and let her charge him again.

"Damn you!!"

When Sora didn't answer, Page One lost it and lunged at him in rage.

Far away on the Divine Slave, Robin calmly crossed her arms.

Fleur — Hundred-Fold Bloom!

Suddenly, dozens of arms sprouted around and on Page One in his hybrid form, locking him in place on the ground.

"What the hell?!"

Page One was startled, and immediately transformed into his full dinosaur form to break free from Robin's restraint.

The next moment, Sora appeared in front of him, hand outstretched, lightning dancing in his palm.

One Million Volts: Thunder Strike!

ROAR!!

A flash of lightning engulfed the area, and Page One, now in dinosaur form, let out a pained roar.

"What did you do to my brother?!"

Ulti snapped out of her depressive state the moment she heard his cry. She roared and charged straight at Sora.

Ulti-Mortar!

Still refusing to learn her lesson, she launched herself like a cannonball.

Sora chuckled and snapped his fingers again. Another ghost floated in front of him as he disappeared into a bolt of lightning, evading her headbutt.

Boom!

Ulti shot straight through the ghost — and crashed head-on into Page One. The two of them collapsed in a heap.

"Big sis!"

Taking a nasty headbutt to the face, Page One watched in horror as Ulti once again fell into a slump of deep depression. He reverted to his hybrid form, scooped her up, and ran.

That ghost — it completely countered Ulti. He wasn't about to stick around for another round.

Watching them flee, Sora raised an eyebrow.

No wonder — the guy had the power of an Ancient Zoan-type Dragon Dragon Fruit. After taking both a direct lightning blast and his sister's Armament Haki-charged headbutt, he was still on his feet like nothing happened.

If not for the surprise element of the Negative Ghosts, handling both of them alone would've been a real problem — especially with their mastery of both Armament and Observation Haki.

With that thought, Sora once again turned into lightning, surged ahead of Page One, and reappeared in front of them.

Ten Million Volts: Thunder Field!

An enormous dome of crackling electricity erupted outward from Sora, spreading rapidly across the ground.

Page One squinted and immediately leapt into the air to avoid the area-of-effect blast.

"As expected, the brother-in-law's got Observation Haki too."

"But without Sky Walk… you've got nowhere to run midair."

Watching Page One hover overhead, Sora grinned.

Wind Prison!

He raised his hand, and a swirl of wind surged around both Page One and Ulti, suspending them in midair — weightless, unable to descend, unable to move.

They flailed in vain, like two people trapped in zero gravity.

Thanks to long training with Reiju, Sora's bloodline factor powers had advanced again, giving him even greater control over wind.

"How many powers do you even have?!"

Page One gritted his teeth, glaring at the air currents around him and Ulti.

Sora had already shown at least four completely different abilities — it was beyond anything he had imagined.

Though in truth, Page One had mistakenly assumed Robin's Flower-Flower Fruit power was also one of Sora's.

Ulti, recovering from her depressive trance again, growled in fury.

"You bastard! Let us down already!"

Sora raised an eyebrow — a spark of lightning flickered from his fingertip and blasted toward Page One.

After all, he couldn't bear to hit his beloved Ulti-wife… but the brother-in-law? Fair game.

ZAP!

The lightning struck — Page One winced but held firm.

He'd activated his Armament Haki just in time, minimizing the damage.

"Not bad."

Sora gave him a nod of approval.

Then he turned to Ulti.

"I'm going to ask you some questions. You answer. If you talk back — your brother gets zapped again."

"Understood?"

"Why am I the one getting punished when she's the one mouthing off...?" Page One froze, feeling like a thousand alpacas were stampeding through his soul.

Ulti clenched her teeth, fuming silently — but she knew when she was outmatched. For Page One's sake, she swallowed her anger.

Watching her glare and seethe but restrain herself out of concern for her brother, Sora smirked and began his interrogation.

"You two — Flying Six of the Beast Pirates — why did you come all the way from the New World to the Sabaody Archipelago?"

Ulti hesitated for a moment. She glanced at Page One, then slowly replied, "Boss Kaido wants the spaceship technology of the Godslayer, Sora. We were sent to intercept him."

Sora nodded — that explanation was about what he expected.

"Just the two of you? No All-Stars?"

"There's also Queen… and a few more of the Flying Six."

"Besides you, who else on the Archipelago is here for the Godslayer's spaceship tech?"

"Big Mom Pirates, the Revolutionary Army, CP0 from the World Government… and some rookie pirates."

"Then why are only the two of you here right now?"

"We lured the Marine Admirals here, so we had to escape."

"You lured them here?" Sora glanced at Ulti, genuinely surprised.

Still suspended midair, Ulti struggled for a while. Realizing she couldn't escape, she gave in and sighed, looking a bit defeated.

"Big Mom's crew sent Katakuri, Smoothie, Daifuku, Oven, and a bunch of other top officers. We couldn't take them on."

"So Queen told us to disguise ourselves as the Godslayer — and stir up trouble on Sabaody, spread the news, and lure the Admirals in. The idea was to make them target Katakuri and the others…"

After hearing Ulti explain Queen's entire plan, Sora didn't know whether to laugh or curse.

He never thought he'd run into a classic case of "the real meets the fake."

He glanced at Ulti and Page One with a mix of annoyance and amusement and muttered:

"So that's why the three Admirals were deployed to Sabaody."

"All because of that fat idiot Queen's scheme!"

Ulti and Page One froze, blinking in confusion.

"The three Admirals… are here?"
