Chapter 24 - A Great Medical Breakthrough!

Great! Great! Great!

Erin was far more excited than Payne because he for one could see the medicinal benefits in them.

Do you know what it means for a single fruit to have its values and most unique and medical aspects to be amplified and multiplied by 100,000% compared to ordinary tomatoes?

No wonder people feel changes in their bodies after a single meal. The medical worry in the Ginseng alone was even more ridiculous.

He felt that just eating these fruits and foods alone could heal someone in the long run.

No… the 'long run' is such a far away time. Give it a couple of weeks and months, and they'll be good to go, completely rid of their illnesses. This means that Cancer will soon become something as small as a common cold.

What? Do you think that because of this, doctors will no longer be needed? Then you're an idiot.

Back in medieval times, Fever and even Chicken Pox was seen as Cancer to those people. They were dying left, right and center, and doctors have always been needed.

Even in many Sci-fi movies, you see that each crew ship has a doctor, despite having high technology and super pills.

Know that new diseases will always spring up as humanity advances. So finding a way to cure the current ones will always be a win-win for humanity.

No matter what, doctors will always be needed. So any doctor who feels that their future is at stake, clearly doesn't understand how the world works.

Soon, someone will probably develop a way to convert these high products into drugs and medicines. Then, they will still get circulated into the hospitals.

What? You what a shot that can cure cancer? Sure, but you will need about 2~3 during the span of 6 months.

Hey, you say you have a hidden pain from an old wound? Sure. Take this pill 2 times a day for the next few months until it's finished. You should be fine by then.

… Understand that just as doctors write prescriptions for fever, headaches, and migraines, all these illnesses will become so miniscule like those.

Then, now illnesses will pop up. Probably not from these fruits since they showed no impurities and no chances of harming the human body. People fail to understand that the world itself is alive. And every decade or even century, it changes and spits out one or 2 things that bring about new diseases.

Change and Evolution is always present. So what more can he say?

Payne was amused by the animated Erin. "It's that good?"

~Bam!

Erin slammed his Palms on the table with a determined look. "Buddy… I stake my whole career on this… so BUY!"

"Buy?" Payne shrugged. "I was planning to, anyway."

Erin released a sigh of relief, glad that his buddy understood the importance of products he just showcased.

"You know that this matter can't remain hidden… I must tell Khalea."

Khalea, his wife, came from a renowned military family. Her father is a well known figure who is still deeply rooted with some major military operations.

As for his brother-in-law… Erin paused, thinning his lips so much they disappeared.

Without saying a thing, Payne understood him. "Take half of whatever is left. I'm sure my sister-in-law needs it more."

Erin felt warm. "Thank you, brother Payne."

….

Several hours later, Erin now stood before his darling wife.

Khalea narrowed her gaze at the reports. When she was done, she slowly raised her head and stared deeply at her husband on the other side of her desk.

However, despite her calm expression, her hands couldn't stop trembling. If Erin didn't know his wife well, he would have thought she was unimpressed.

Lea was the pet name Erin called Khalea.

"Lea, I ran the tests 20 times for each product and came up with the same results." Erin paused– "So believe me when I say that big brother has a fighting chance with this."

The couple quickly headed to the military hospital Khalea's brother was in. Several guards saluted them with reverence.

Laying on a bed was a stunning 31 year old man in a coma. His Coma was due to a heavy head injury he sustained during a mission. The Kin family and several people were just happy that they managed to keep him alive after the mission.

He and his team of 10, single handedly ventured into one of the most dangerous parts of the country to retrieve a dangerous target.

They did so successfully, but not without a few casualties. The mission was successful, no one died, and a few others were recovering. However, Khul Kin was the only one who fell deep into an indefinite coma 7 months ago.

According to the doctors, he might wake up in a month, a year, 30 years, or even 90 years… No one knows when he will wake.

Khalea sat beside her brother, gently running her hands through his hair. Her expression was soft when looking at the man who has steadily protected her from childhood till now.

Khalea was 26 years old—5 years younger than Khul Kin.

Growing up, her brother has always been her light, protecting her when others bullied her.

He was the one who taught her all her moves, and made her learn to defend herself when bullied in kindergarten.

Yup.

When she first ran home crying about getting bullied, her brother was the first to teach her some self-defense moves that her father taught him

As the only son to such a great military personnel, her brother has always been taught martial arts since he was 3.

You might say that's too early, but some people believe that's the perfect time to learn all sorts of flexible abilities like gymnastics, ballet dancing, you name it.

So what's wrong with practicing martial arts young?
