Chapter 114 - Chapter 114: The Captain

[3rd POV]

The Justice League's visit was not really the most enjoyable affair for Wanda. She found most of the team to be decent enough, but there were just enough members on the team that didn't like her for them to be annoying, irritating even.

But she decided to ignore them for now, and was instead focusing on training Naruto. As recently he had begun to properly train in the various Kekkei genkai that she had granted him in the last few days. His power was rising rapidly thanks to this.

Especially once she saw him fit to obtain the Sharingan. The boy had become rapidly skilled in its usage once Wanda opted to show him how to use it, since she did have all of the different doujutsu in that universe so it was easy enough.

Thanks to his innate talent and the training of Wanda, he had mastered and learned the doujutsu pretty damn quick. He had gotten them to three tomoe and was just short of getting them to the mangekyo sharingan.

She planned on eventually giving him the Rinnegan and even the Tenseigan, but that would have to come later on. As right now she was more focused on training the boy in mastering the powers he already had before giving him anymore.

She didn't want to overwhelm him with new abilities or anything. Especially when said abilities could potentially turn into skills once she brings him to the Tensura universe. But the power of these skills will be dependent on his training and mastery over them, as well as his power with them.

So, it was best that he learns and masters them as much as possible before going to Tensura to gain his skills.

Who knows, he could potentially develop an Ultimate skill if he trains in them enough. But that would need a lot more than what he currently had, and would need a lot of time in order to reach such a scale.

But Wanda had faith that he would eventually get there...probably at least.

Besides training her son in mastering his chakra and the various elements that can be learned and mastered through chakra, Wanda had been looking into traveling to Dragon Ball.

She wanted to go there personally in order to learn some new forms of martial arts and the various manipulations of ki. She also wanted to learn the powers of Zeno, and maybe even use the super dragon balls to gather books that no longer existed in the universes of dragon ball, including even the books that were destroyed after Zeno wiped out the other universes.

It was the best way to learn things that couldn't be learnt anymore. As while she could utilize her connection to the Akashic Records, it would make things take a LOT longer and far more draining. It's easier to just use the dragon balls to gain access to the books, that and it would give her the physical versions of them, and would be far more interesting to watch happen thanks to the big ass dragon.

Super Shenron was literally bigger than galaxies and such. And even to Wanda that was an impressive thing.

But before Wanda could head to the universe, she had a more important thing to do. Or more like a more important customer that was in her shop. And this was in the form of the Sorcerer Supreme.

But this time...he was not alone.

As standing with him was someone she had not expected to see. A powerful figure in the Marvel universe. Not for his actual physical or magical power, but for what he embodies. For the heroism that he portrays, for the person he was.

and this man was...

Steve Rogers, aka...Captain America

Staring at Steve Rogers, Wanda wondered why he was here. She expected for Strange to bring someone new to the store, but she hadn't been expecting Steve Rogers. She had been expecting someone like Tony Stark, Reed Richards, or even the version of her that exists there.

But Steve Rogers was one of the last people that she expected to show up. The man was pretty morally light and would almost certainly dislike her naturality rules. Rules that he couldn't do jack shit about thanks to her power.

He was here now though, so it didn't matter. Not only that, but he was closely connected to Doctor Strange thanks to previous work they have done with one another in the past, even if they have been at odds once or twice before.

"Strange, I can't say I was expecting you to bring Rogers here of all people. Is there any reason why you have brought Captain America of all people here?" Wanda asked, staring at the man in his over the top costume, his shield on his back.

That shield was one of the very very few things that not even she could destroy, at least not as easily as she could with other metals. It was made of a specialized metal that was impossible for normal people to destroy, but she was not normal.

"I thought that the de-facto leader of the Avengers would be the best person to introduce to you first. Had I chosen Stark, Richards, or even Fury, things would have been a lot more complicated. They would have asked more questions, and potentially risked your fury" Strange explained, as Wanda stared at him before nodding.

It made sense. He was trying not to make her mad which could end with a curse, like with Captain Atom.

"Hmm, I suppose that makes sense. Well, it is nice to meet you, Captain Rogers" Wanda said, reaching her hand out as he shook it, still looking at her in confusion.

"Something on your mind?" Wanda asked, noticing his look.

"Ah, sorry ma'am. It's just strange seeing a version of the Wanda of my world acting so...differently. To see one that owns a simple bookstore and has this much power" Rogers said with an awkward smile as he pulled his hand back.

"I understand. I'd be a bit weirded out too. I am quite different from her, older, stronger, much more wise" Wanda responded with a smile, as the man looked around her shop, inwardly agreeing with everything she was saying.

"So, what exactly are you here for?" Wanda asked, glancing at Strange.

"I thought it was best to introduce a member of the Avengers to you before someone runs across you by accident. That and I believe that you have a number of books that Rogers here might be interested in" Strange answered.

"Oh? And what sort of books are you interested in?" Wanda questioned, looking at Rogers with a curious expression. She already had a feeling she knew, but she was interested in his answer either way.

"Martial arts, history, tactics, things like that, ma'am. Do you have a section that sells all of those?" The Captain asked, as she nodded and pointed.

"Over there, the third bookshelf to the left. It's full of martial arts books. The bookshelf three to its right is tactics, and history is on the other side" Wanda responded, as the man nodded and walked over to the shelf in question in order to see what exactly she was selling.

Strange had told him about her power and that she sold books you can't find anywhere else in the entire universe, but not much beyond that. He was being secretive, seemingly on purpose.

Steve understood why though, the Sorcerer Supreme feared that she would know that he was talking about her, and take it as a slight or something of the sort. And if his description of her power was any indicator, she was not someone they can ever afford to piss off.

Hence why he was there and not Stark.

"When do you plan on bringing the others here to meet me?" Wanda asked, wondering when she would see her counterpart and potentially even the other Vision. Or hell, even her sons if they existed yet in that universe.

It would be...strange to see them, but she knew they were not her children or anything, not truly.

"Soon, but I will likely do it slowly. And I will start with the members of the Avengers that are far more accepting of things like this. And not someone like Tony or Reed. Those two would cause a lot of problems over this, same with Carol. They are all kind people, don't get me wrong, but they can be...arrogant" Strange responded truthfully, knowing that lying was absolutely pointless in front of her.

Hearing his response, Wanda smiled, and said only one thing in response.

"Well...I'll be waiting eagerly"
