After Qiao An went to the restroom, Lu Xi just lounged lazily against the back of her chair, waiting for the fireworks.
The river at night had its own kind of charm. The weather after the start of autumn was very comfortable. The social butterflies were all in the hall of the cabin, and there were only two or three people around, very quiet.
If she could walk a bit further forward and lean over the rail, it would be even better, but Lu Xi couldn't swim and was still a little scared.
When people are in a bad mood, they always want a drink. Lu Xi knew her own capacity; if she got drunk and made a fool of herself, Jiang Muzhou would probably strangle her, so she only took a glass of red wine.
She hadn't gone home. How could Lu Huai'an not even make a single phone call?
"Hi, beautiful lady, may I have the honor of asking you for a dance?"
