My name is Lin Zhuxi.
Since I was old enough to remember, I've known I have a twin sister. Her name is Lu Zhunan.
I take my mother's surname, and she takes my father's.
Where I live, there are beautiful plane trees. Where she lives, the seasons are distinct.
Although we've never met, I have a clear understanding of all her likes and habits because I always dream about her.
She looks exactly like me, and she has two dimples on her cheeks when she smiles.
I get mysteriously feverish and ill without a reason, and each time, dad and my brother are very worried, staying by my side all night to take care of me.
"Dad, I've been good and didn't play in the snow. Why am I sick?"
"Because your sister is sick. I've told you before, you two are twins and have a telepathic connection. Just like how you always say you dream about her."
At my age, I can understand dad's words.
